We actually played well in midfield up until our goal. After that, we just stripped and bent over.

We just love to be butt-fcked

My goodness, we are a very poor side. It's like the 90's all over. Some good players, some average players and some really shit players.

The worrying thing is that, even if we do sign players, they will be ineligible for the replay, so we're going to have to pray we can win

The way the players panic under pressure and consistently give the ball away is amazing, Mourinho has to find a way to fix it because they can't sell all the players.

Vintage Aurier unfortunately.

Happy to see him playing better in general, but I can't see him ever getting rid of those kind of mistakes. He just isn't smart enough on the pitch.
As soon as you see him start going off his feet & lunging into challenges you know the stupid is coming

could have done without the replay, we could have really benifitted from a bit of rest and some quality time on the training ground.

I think we are just starting to look a bit more solid. Still never really look in control, but we are defending a lot better. If Jose can get a couple of players in we will improve.

Well that result was all about two bits of individualism from our players.

GLC who used his skill to carve Southampton open and set up a goal when we were being hounded.

and Aurier who out of a safe situation decided to run into two players instead of passing sooner, lost the ball and set up Southampton when we were comfortable.

We can argue about Mourinho’s tactics, but it’s still individual errors that are costing us and it feels like only individual brilliance getting us over or close to the line.

Got our tactics spot on for the first 70 mins, but a failure to act to their change in formation cost us. Same problems every time we play against wing backs. Until we realise we can't play a back four against it we won't go anywhere.

Le Celso needs to play in the centre permanently.

Lucas can never play the whole match. He always seems to play on intuition, hence the more he dose something, the worse he will be if it just doesn't happen. We are so toothless with him, just so ineffective.

Thought we played fairly well up until the last 20. Looked a bit tired then and the extra days rest they had probably helped them.

Wasteful in the first half and really should have been out of sight.

Gio is an absolute star though

We are a team in transition and display the consistency that comes along with it, it's obvious we need players and Mou needs a pre-season. Despite this there are currently 16 other inconsistent teams in the PL so anything can happen in the league and cup.

A couple good individual performances but overall nowhere near good enough. Again.

Mourinho's work just starting to show. Great performance from GLC, he has transformed in the last few games which is fantastic to see, and for the most part we defended well, (the typical Sanchez blips aside), while Tanganga continues to impress and put in some brave blocks. It just came down to a few individual moments, both Son and Moura should have scored, and Aurier despite improving under Jose is always going to cost us.
