Tottenham are considering a Championship loan for Djed Spence but the player feels he is ready for the Premier League. Tottenham are looking for the right destination to send Djed Spence on loan and will have to be convinced it is the right fit to let him join a Championship club, with Southampton fitting the profile and interested.

However, FLW understands that Spence believes he is ready for Premier League football amid links to Crystal Palace.

What I don't understand about loans is that if you are the player's primary employer, surely you have the right to insist a player goes out on loan to another club. Are players entitled to turn loans down?

I would have though so surely, I wouldn’t sign a contract which allowed my employer to send me to work in Russia for a year… or even worse….. Croydon!

Just kidding anyone from Croydon :) I grew up there.

I met Spense the other day, great lad I really think he is a genuinely good kid.

He said conte wouldn’t play him as he was a club signing

Conte the atmosphere was toxic

Lives Ange and so do the players his brought a great atmosphere

His mum wants him to move club, he wants to stay!

I deal with a lot of ppl and employe a lot of young people. I would say his too laid back to nice, and he is possibly a young 23 year old. With loads of talent, who prob doesn’t fight hard enough, doesn’t yet realise he needs to die for the shirt.

Lovely kid lovely family! Does he have the passion ? The desire to be a top player ?

I feel sorry for the kid, but he's unlikely to get ahead of Porro and Emerson in the pecking order?

that's the point...

they need to wake up and realise they need to give their all in training, to develop and improve themselves to they can stand a chance to get selected. they need to be physically and mentally ready to take their chances when it comes.

but i also feel for them, hard to get motivated when you are there to make up the numbers.
