Some stats from the season:
@Shepspurs , Bradfordspur, @Grey Fox and @Spurs 1961 were ever present this season (50 matches).
@Armstrong_11 and Shepspur shared first and second place from M14 onwards.
@Jgplk1 (61 out of 68 (90%)), @maltahotspur (71 out of 82) (87%)) and @Houdini (78 out of 96 (81%)) were the most optimistic predicting Spurs players scoring first in either half.
@GilzeansGrandad (39 out of 98 (40%)), @RickyVilla (33 out of 87) (38%)) and @1882andallthat (30 out of 90 (33%)) were more realistic, predicting opponents scoring first.
Mention to Armstrong_11 for his ‘HT 0-0/No Scorer’ prediction strategy in every game which delivered 206 points in total!
The Spurs players with the highest first scorer predictions were Harry Kane (752 (56% of all Spurs tips)) and Son (314 (24%)). No other player collected more than 10% of Spurs predictions.
Unsurprisingly Harry Kane had 125 winning predictions delivering 645 points. All these winning predictions except 2 were in League games, the exceptions being in a Domestic Cup game.
The highest predicted opposition players were Haarland (Man City) and Salah (Liverpool) both 28 in 2 games, Rashford (Man Unt) 18 in 2 games and Watkins (Aston Villa) 16 in 2 games.
Highest scores in Champions League (Max possible 63 pts)
@jurgen11 and Shepspur both scored maximums in M11 (Eintracht Frankfurt (A)) and Grey Fox achieved this in M38 (AC Milan (H)), with an additional 5 BoBB points to boot!
GilzeansGrandad and @hughy both scored 51 points in M7 (Marseille (H)).
Highest scores in Domestic Cups (Max possible 42 Pts)
No maximums in Domestic Cup games this year.
Best scores were 16 points, twice by Armstrong_11 in M26 (Portsmouth (H)) and M30 (Preston (A)), and Plupper and RickyVilla both in M26 (Portsmouth (H).
Highest Scores in Premier League (Max possible 21 pts)
Three maximums in Premier League Games, Houdini and Jgplk1 in M4 (Nottm Forest (A)) and 1882andallthat in M41 (Everton (A))
Only one match resulted in ‘nil points’ being scored (M32 Leicester (A))
