Nobody is disputing its Hotspur Way, what @Ionman34 is saying there is a sign at the gate sayin Spurs Lodge. So unless Google can get its camera car back down there, be good lads and accept what our friend has to say.

Thanks for the kind words mate, but there isn't a sign there. It was the security guard who welcomed me to Spurs Lodge, his own words.
The road the the Lodge is on is Hotspur Way.

I've never been welcomed by the security saying it's Spurs Lodge, I also know someone who works there but he just calls it the training ground. I've ever know it as Hotspur Way. I will actually ask next time I'm there

went to watch my Nephew playing at the Lodge today, he's under 9's with Luton Town, and have to say that I was blown away. What a facility! Even the verges to the roads are cut with tram lines in them!
The multitude of pitches there are fantastic, like bowling greens, absolutely immaculate. When I recall the pitches that I played on as a youth, I can't help but envy these kids. Having said that, the talent in these youngsters is unbelievable. I was watching 8 year old kids doing things with a ball I couldn't do when I was 18 and I played at a pretty good level back in the day, some super talent on show on both sides.
it was a great day out, despite my Nephew's team getting somewhat spanked, although we do expect to see him step up in the next 2/3 seasons. He desperately wants to join the Spurs set up and, whilst I accept there is some familial bias, he's certainly good enough. I watched him Rainbow flick a ball over an opponents head, pass him, nutmeg the next kid then Rabona a shot that the keeper pulled off a quality save to stop.
An 8 year old FFS! He wasn't even the standout player there either as Spurs had some brilliant kids. One youngster called Yaya really stood out.
I was really impressed with what I saw and fully expect us to be turning out major talent for years to come...

My Nephew being one of them of course.

When I've been there you can see the kids training in the indoor centre and the ability they have is ridiculous, they also used to use my old cricket ground when Hotspur Way was being built and the lodge had been knocked down and whenever I went down, it was ridiculous what they could do. Hope your nephew gets in.

Yeah, makes a change from all the 8 year old mercenaries just in it for the money
You're telling me. One of my U8s was trying to convince his Dad he scored 4 this weekend and not 3 just so he could squeeze another £1 out of him!!!
Disgraceful behaviour.

I love this thread

It is not called Spurs Lodge, whatever a security guard says: http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/news/11018446._/

A Google Maps search will show it as that as it will be a metadata redirect, as it no longer exists, and what most searches will want is where Spurs train now (notice it doesn't say Spurs Lodge anywhere in the actual result)

Similarly, the 'about Spurs Lodge' page links to the Tottenham Hotspur Experience, no mention of Spurs Lodge

I imagine the security guard was being informal. I still call my local the name of the pub it used to be, not what they rebranded it. But he best not get caught by Levy...
