in isolation he should be knocking on the door of the first team but conte isn't exactly known for bringing young players through so in reality the answer is probably "not very".Obviously I've not seen much (anything) of this lad, apart from his little cameo against Marine last season. But these words from from former coach are lovely to see!
“The talent, the attitude, the ability to always turn it on. The tenacity, the aggression. When it comes to looking at that whole picture, he’s the best player in the academy. He could play for England one day.”
What's not to like? @Blake Griffin how close is this lad to breaking into the first team, please?

he is a big talent though and a complete departure from all of our other midfielders - which possibly works against him in conte's eyes. he's a player that just wants to get on the ball and make things happen. he gets goals, he creates, dribbles, breaks forward, comfortable in possession, relatively quick, fairly strong for his age, has a bit of nasty about him. i can't see any area of his game that you can point to and say he needs to overcome if he's to make it. right now the only thing that may make conte reluctant is a lack of maturity, he's not a safe player who will just stick to the basics, that means sometimes he'll lose the ball but that's only because he's trying to do something most aren't capable of.
