That atmosphere was electric. It rattled Judas and their entire team so much. I’m sure he had an absolute mare and we beat them 2-1. I’m not sure that could be recreated in the new stadium though. When this game happens we need to make it incredibly hostile. Like PTSD inducing bad so they're petrified to ever set foot in our stadium again. Like the Judas return game - that hostile
We drew 1-1 thanks to a late Poyet equaliser (goalkeeper should have saved it). We dominated but Pires scored a screamer with about 15 mins to go.That atmosphere was electric. It rattled Judas and their entire team so much. I’m sure he had an absolute mare and we beat them 2-1. I’m not sure that could be recreated in the new stadium though.
You’re right, I just googled it. There was definitely a match under the lights that he played in and the atmosphere was even more hostile. It was an absolute cauldron. He had a mare and I’m sure we won. ?We drew 1-1 thanks to a late Poyet equaliser (goalkeeper should have saved it). We dominated but Pires scored a screamer with about 15 mins to go.
I’ve no idea why I remember these things so clearly but I do.
We definitely could recreate that atmosphere in the new stadium but so far our performances there have often been pretty passive and the fans lose faith quickly. I’d expect it to be loud for the NLD.
Soccer Saturday that day really pissed me off. You Tube it if you haven’t seen it.That atmosphere was electric. It rattled Judas and their entire team so much. I’m sure he had an absolute mare and we beat them 2-1. I’m not sure that could be recreated in the new stadium though.
My office has more covid cases than Arsenal.
He's an Arsenal fan isn't he? Obviously going to bias his thinking, although he is obviously wrongMichah Richards sounded like he was reading off a sky script about the game jesus christ infuriating "arsenal have done nothing wrong, i feel that where its Arsenal everyone just lumps in" had to turn off at that point fuckin pathetic, and bollocks.
Disagree, but I never click those but that's the point I was making, if he's suspended, he should still count as available otherwise the diciplinary action means nothing if you can use it to your advantage.Considering Xhaka's suspension will now apply to other fixtures, not ours, I don't see why the PL couldn't simply have postponed his suspension by a game. Then Arsenal have enough outfield players and the game could have gone ahead. It might have been a non-standard decision, but no more so than suspending a match because a team has one case of COVID (but lacks players due to stupidly loaning out two first team players in the same month that AFCON takes place).
Suspensions are meant to make things harder for a team, that's the whole point of them. They're punishments. That a Xhaka red has led to this game being postponed is scandalous. Then they wonder why Clubs want to start their own leagues.
Any team with less than the maximum squad size should be held accountable for that when their requests for postponements are reviewed. Teams should also be accountable for not adequately provisioning for the absence of players who they know will have national team commitments that conflict with the domestic schedule. They are loaning out another player, Mari, so that further reduces down their options for rest of season.
The rules are a joke to allow them take advantage like this.
