Its not that I see 4th as "impossible" its that I don't see 4th as necessary - and thus won't be disappointed if we finish 5th. This has been a long strange season - and while we have had our sites on a top-4 finish - I don't see it as the difference between a good or bad season. We have made improvements, and we still have improvements to make over the summer.

I will be disappointed if we finish 6th though.
I don't disagree and we are above Utd and Newcastle who were in the CL this season but we should still be targeting it until it's not possible
It's all about building that mentality to finish as high as possible which realistically is 4th but we should push as high as possible not thinking a draw will do

Jesus.

Only Spurs fans lol.

I guess you’ve not looked at our upcoming fixtures. 4th would be a miracle, 5th will be a fight and 6th is a possibility. I wouldn’t be concerned if we were playing well but we’re not, we’re way too open at the back, our central midfield leaves a lot to be desired, we’re not creating anywhere near as many chances as we were early season and our goals scored have dried up.

5th isnt a fight. You're assuming the others will win most of their games, they wont.

They're even more inconsisent than us.

4th is going to be tough, but we've more chance of finishing fourth than losing 5th place.

Saw somewhere Michael Oliver is referee

Great, he did the Chelsea game ffs.

Part of the reason we lost our discipline that night was down to him letting Chelsea away with niggly fouls...countles times he allowed them to.

It's a bit of an ask sure but Villa are also just as inconsistent as we are

They’ve been playing well whereas we haven’t been. The 4-1 defeat to Man City was very harsh, Villa played well and created a shed load of chances. Since then they’ve turned over Arsenal away and comfortably saw off Bournemouth. They’ve 2 difficult fixtures in their last 4 but to catch them we would need to beat at least one of the top 3 and Chelsea and better their goal difference.

We’ve all got our opinions… for me we should be nervously looking over our shoulders at Newcastle and potentially Chelsea if they get a result against Arsenal

They were not so good against Brentford letting slip twice and needed a late equalizer, thrashed by us and City, not great at West Ham either. They've won 2 in a row but that doesn't make it great form as yet.

But you’re looking at it as us in worst case scenario and Newcastle or United in best case scenario.

Hand on heart where do you see us finishing?

We’re in poor form, missing our best two full backs and have a nightmare run in. Newcastle are flying and have a relatively easy run in. Man U will likely fall short but only have a couple of hard games left.

They’re ten points behind us with six matches left. Even if we are terrible that’s ten points.

You forgot to mention, that we still fear a 35 points deduction by the Premier League. Relegation incoming.

Move VDV out left and pair Dragusin with Cuti?

Or play it safe and keep the CB pairing with either Emerson or Davies on the left?

Id do the former but Id be massively surprised if Agne does.

But make us, big and powerful, try and win the physical battles.

They're smashing Chelsea so not ideal form coming into this one. Why they not bottling the title?

One game at a time. Let's just beat them first.

Our form vs the "top 6" is good. Why can't we win?
They keep clean sheets time and again. We always look likely to concede. They're on fire. We're currently a damp squib. I would be amazed if we turn them over. Delighted but amazed. We need to find our A game from somewhere and they need to be well off theirs.

Home form hasn't been bad recently though.

I've been to many of these games, where form goes out the window.
