Don't think Gil is up to this level yet, don't think square legs like Davies and Emerson in round holes like CB is a good call from Ange, gutted that bentancur got injured, dreadful bench when looking for game changers and still pissed off with Romero for being so thick in the Chelsea game.

We have issues down the left hand side. Gil and Udogie just aren’t clicking imo. Neither are playing badly exactly. They just aren’t on the same wave length.

Gil just isn't enough of a goal threat. I realise there's a enormous quality gap between him and, say, Salah. But this system badly needs wide forwards who'll drive at their man and get past them, or run into space behind for a through ball, and then get in on goal or pull it back for someone.
