Did you boo Sanchez?

I stopped giving Levy my money about 3 years ago. It makes me feel good. I support my local non league side with my hard earned and to get my fix of going to a game. Was gutted he didn't put the prices up as it would have saved me more money and maybe got more fans to boycott as well. The only way Arsenal fans got rid of Wenger was by uniting and refusing to buy anything in the ground.

I wouldn't have booed sanchez. It's not his fault he isn't very good. I wouldn't scapegoat him personally. He does try. But I have no problem with paying fans expressing their opinion.

Only player I ever booed was Adebeyour. That guy really annoyed me.

The people moaning about booing Sanchez , were u just as annoyed when the fans booed Nuno for the Lucas sub , or Conte for the A C milan Sanchez sub or when the fans boo the players off on the half time whistle virtually every home game this season ? I’ve said before , the stadium is toxic , 3 years of watching mind numbingly dull football and an opportunity today to finally change the system to a 4 at the back and unfortunately Sanchez took the brunt of it but if it wasn’t him it would be someone else . It was only a few weeks ago that city fans booed their team off at half time against us , it’s 2023 , we are no different to any other fan base that would have to endure the crap we watch .

Honestly wish we could call back some loan players. We have truly plummeted new depths this season

A perfect example of absence making the heart grow fonder. We are in the trenches, we need warriors and I hardly think a fat nDombele or a brittle lol Celso fit the bill.

No, I agree, but from a different angle. I think you can support the team, and the players playing, and still chant for Levy to be out and show that irritation to the right person.

The Levy issues aren't an overarching excuse for people to act like fucknuggets towards the players.

So it’s not ok for fans to “act like fucknuggetes” towards fans - but it is ok for them to act like that towards Levy ? ….. ok 🤷🏻‍♂️

Personally - think both are disgusting. Support the team, support the club. The players don’t deserve it, and neither does Levy.

Never, in my twenty plus years of going to Tottenham, have I ever booed a player and never will. I was angry and unimpressed with yesterday’s performance but booing a particular player is counterproductive and does nothing to lift that players performance. Our job at the game, is to cheer on the players and try and lift them.

Different levels. You are not stood in Levy's office as he works, real time booing him are you? That would be unacceptable.

The protests would be about ENIC, and a continued sense that the club is not providing at clear direction and a viable product for the money spent. He's the boss of that company - the buck stops with him.

There needs to be a way of the media to pick up on and be aware of the fan frustration, and pressure applied to ENIC to force change, and sustained calling for 'ENIC or Levy out' is not the same level as cheering one of the players as they have been subbed. If it descends into unacceptable, personal abuse for the sake of it, I'll agree with you, as it's unnecessary to achieve that goal, and largely counter-productive.

It’s a fair point but personally no I wasn’t because none of those examples involved singling out one individual player who is already shot of confidence and booing him during a match when he is playing for Tottenham Hotspur (however bad he may be)

I've been supporting Spurs since the 70's so I'm used to the rollercoasters of emotions and the brief highs and freqyent disappointments.

Today I took my nephew to his first ever Spurs game, and the sheer excitement on his face at seeing the ground and soaking up the atmosphere and seeing his heroes was priceless I was truly gutted for him, much more for him than me, at that Bournemouth winner with 30 seconds from time. It was like Scrooge had literally snatched all his presents away and burst his balloon all at once, right at the end. A tough introduction to life as a football fan on the way home and getting on the coach and getting back for a 7 and a half year old. I hope I've not scarred the poor boy for life...
It has set him up perfectly for life as a Spurs fan 😂 My son’s first ever game was Bournemouth at Wembley. We won 1-0, a week later I took him to the Liverpool match and we won 4-1, then Madrid and we won 2-0, then Arsenal and we won 1-0. I almost felt sorry for my boy because he actually thought we always won. It all came crashing down the next season when we lost 1-0 at home to Newcastle which is still the worst game I’ve ever seen live. Poch didn’t last long after that and it’s been downhill ever since.

That was a great sequence of games to take your son to. Me and my partner went to that Liverpool game on the Sunday which was followed in quick succession a few days later by us getting knocked out of the League Cup by the Spammers after being 2-0 up which my partner was very pleased about as she is a Spammer. We also went to the Arsenal game and I remember us watching that Newcastle game early in the season while on holiday on the coast. Dreadful game that was.

I suspect your son now realises sadly that Spurs have a have a habit of finding frequent ways of serving up disappointment, so the highs very much been to be cherished 😊.

I have been frustrated with many of our players and teams in the past. But up until the Jol era , I accepted that we were a middle table team. With middle table players. But I don’t recall actively disliking watching how we play and the general attitude of the team. But this whole season I’ve been disgusted by the coaching. In particular, Conte’s combustible ego and general air of ”I’m too good for you lot”. Yet, only proving that he is a tactical dinosaur. As for the players… I’d say about 75 percent of their form and attitude has been below par. Very few can hold up their hand and say they’ve given it their all.

The fact that we lead the league in mistakes, is emblematic of player focus and confidence.

With all the tickets that were listed on the exchange Friday night, was there really 61,369 in attendance Saturday or have we started doing the attendance based on tickets sold like those lot down the road did for a while?

I know this has been discussed in here plenty but...

I was there on Saturday and the booing of Sanchez was absolutely disgusting. Even putting aside the fact that it is just a shitty thing to do, it is entirely counter productive.

I never boo at games but I think fans are entitled to vocalise their displeasure at the final whistle, but keep it at the final whistle yeah? Pure idiocy booing your own players mid-game and then cheering when they get subbed off.

Anyway. We were SHIT.

It’s always done on tickets sold.
