I voted for a home win but the more I think about this match the more fearful I become. Even if we had Cuti playing I'd be more confident but our defence is going to face so many attacks and Vicario's going to be busy. If the team was tired on Thursday after 4 full days off they're going to be tired today.

Part of me thinks we might actually see some of the youth starting but then I think we've only got one more game to scrape through before things should start improving on the "player availability" front. The kids are bound to get solid minutes against Burnley in the Cup but I'd like to see more of Veliz today.

Sorry for the negativity but I just can’t see a win today , agree with others that we will need to score 3 and that’s quite an ask when u consider deki is out and son looked like he was playing in quick sand on Thursday . One last push before the new year 🙏

Agree.

Hugely positive about the overall state of play and obviously with Ange. But I'd be gobsmacked if we won today.

But if we can scrape a win, it will be a huge 3 points.

Think we need the front 3 on top form. Really need Son, Richarlison and Johnson to step it up.

If we had Dier starting we could have two long-standing scapegoats playing central defence, three longstanding scapegoats in Holjbjerg, Skipp and Lo Celso in Midfield and more recent scapegoats Richarlison and Johnson playing up front with the teflon coated Son. I’m sure Sarr will start though and he’s not quite scapegoat certified yet. This is like Christmas all over again for a lot of Spurs supporters- they literally can’t lose.

It’s the last game of 2023 - please get behind the team, all of the team. COYS!!

Simple answer , Sky chose Ful/Ars and Sky unlike Amazon do not usually show two games simultaneously also PL & Sky probably didn't want any 4:30 KO's on New Years Eve.
Could have done a 12.30 and a 14.30 KO. Pity

I find myself worrying more about picking up new injuries than I do about losing the game, which is kinda bizarre. But an injury now to Vicario would depress the hell outta me now.

I think home advantage is crucial today and should get us over the line, be more concerned if w were away

I don’t consider today ‘must win’ as there’s still half a season to go and nobody looks formidable. However, given all our injuries and Deki and Biss’ suspensions I’ll take a win any which way we can get one. If we somehow come away with 3 points I don’t want to read or hear any grumbles about our style of play or needing luck. With the insane bad luck we’ve had with injuries we’re going to need some good fortune on the pitch to get through the next 2 or 3 games with any wins.

COYS
