Your criticism of Skipp was unfounded and woefully inaccurate. To hop around telling everyone you were correct is weird considering what’s changed is we have come out and played with more pace and played Werner in at the first opportunity rather than waiting for the defence to set like we were in the first half.

Don’t let this get in the way of your Skipp campaign though.

Games like this where teams have worked us out and have the quality to hit us on the counter/from set pieces is where we'll really see if Ange is able to translate his success in lesser leagues to the PL.

Quality is obviously relative but there are new challenges facing him this season in that every single PL team has quality all over the pitch, and even the lowliest clubs have one or two top players particularly in forward positions, offering more threat than he's faced before outside the CL (where his teams played well but consistently lost).

Not a criticism, an observation of how he handles this in the long term. Next season, we will need a squad shaped more towards dealing with games like this.
