Said it before and got shot down but until our manager starts calling out these atrocious refs like Klopp and others we will continue to be on the wrong end of many decisions.
MOD now highlighting the dodgy decisions that went the scousers way tonight,Klopp & Liverpool are now on Ferguson Utd level for decisions their way.

The ref did not give us a freekick and send norgard off when we were having a counter attackwas a truly atrocious decision!
I can understand and forgive so many of the fuckups that refs make, because it is a very, very difficult, and very high-pressure job. But fuck me does it make it difficult to keep perspective when you see a decision like that, which is clearly made on a split-second calculation based on not wanting to have to send someone off. If you give it...then he absolutely has to go. So...you just don't give this blatant foul, and they turn the ball over and have another pop. It was an absolutely outrageous decision in the context of the game and the state of the play in the moment. He's not made a mistake that deserves any understanding or sympathy. He's intentionally decided to not give it because it would be a difficult situation.

The stupid thing is that ridiculous decisions like this only ratchet up the pressure further, leading to even more ridiculous decisions biased in favour of trying to avoid copping any flak. You just have to hope that they review this stuff internally and try to do better, but I fear that we all have little hope of that.

Anyone criticising god for any of his comments during the game can fuck right off. I’ll fight you naked.

SC is full of other things to moan about. Go find one :D

This type of stuff has been going on forever, and as I’ve been saying forever, not all corruption comes in the form of brown paper bags stuffed with fifties or numbered Swiss bank accounts.

It is IMO inconceivable that this was an honest mistake - it could have led to an equaliser and those two points could have cost us a CL place and circa £70-£80m. There has to be some accountability for this

The fact Glenn can't manage to say Udogie is up there with the Waddler calling Romero "Romario" for me in terms of annoyance.

Come wrestle me big man!

Frank after the match "I see them change to a back five I don't think I've seen that all season, so they must respect us in many ways".

Here is the deal Frank. We've played the last few months without ANY centre backs. If you watched our last PL game you would have seen that we put Dragusin on for a back three against United.

Maddison got cramp and we didn't have any centre mids left on the bench because they are either injured or have been in Afcon.

I swear we've had so many players out for so long that people have forgotten what our squad looks like. Rude awakening incoming soon.

It could have caused the refs major heartache - if straight from that foul their attack resulted in a goal - would VaR take it back to that decision? Would they tell the ref he got it wrong?
These on field blatant deliberate decisions create so many further complications for them all.

Only now watching game:

- Thought Werner started well but influence waned
- Romero was near perfect tonight. Kickstarted so many attacks with his interventions
- I really do not like our super high lines on free kicks in our own half. We almost conceded from one tonight and have conceded from a few this season
- Richy good. Involved in almost everything. Could’ve had a few tonight
- Chuffed for BJ. Hoping that boosts his confidence
- There is definitely a place for PEH in the squad. I thought he did well 2nd half
- Crowd good but the booing when we pass backwards is frustrating. We needed spells of possession to calm down
- Neal Maupay is a virgin

Surely Rob should be able to stream this event to SC members for a small fee to raise cash for SC upkeep

Absolutely agree that the barge on Johnson was a free kick. Where the ref didn't give it and they counter attacked, had they scored would VAR have gone back to that incident and overturned the goal and decision?

He was looking good in the Villa game like he’d never been out but I just feel he’s gone a bit reserved after he got injured again.

He needs to get through another good whack unscathed and he will be alright.

Yes! I felt the same way when I heard that.....we hardly had 1 fit center back let alone 3. :ROFLMAO:

I am surprised he was so happy with the performance, taking what he said, the first goal was a ricochet, and the second was a gift. so both where not "good goals" as well.

but i will take the 3 points. we were not convincing as well. rode our luck at times. should have been a more comfortable win.
