It’s the injuries and suspension that are the issue, we’ve all said it that our squad isn’t deep enough especially at CB so to lose Romero, VDV and Maddison all at once could be the difference between a possible title race/ top 4 and slowly sinking to 5-6th.

Surprised that a few in here are writing Romero off. It was reckless and stupid and he isn't the finished article but he has saved our ass time and time again. Win, lose or draw, he has been a big part of this season's success.

He's a great player. His temper does make him a liability at times but a lot of people get very emotional on the match day thread. Perspective is in very short supply.

This officiating has been an utter disgrace.

Sterling has gotten away with two bookings for blatant dives, one which if the ref had caught live, wouldn’t have led to Romero getting sent off. Reece James elbows Udogie flush in the face and the decision is made within seconds? I’m done.

Yep. Tge Sterling dives have really got under my skin … thought the rule for falsifying/feigning was brought in last season

I don’t think it’s necessarily season over - Ange has got us this far with a squad that was largely written off at season start - he’ll figure something out…

Love the positivity and I do think Ange will work something out but we will be far far weaker no doubt about it and our results will suffer.
