Let’s just be thankful we’re doing better without him and he’s not at another PL club. Imagine us languishing in mid-table and him banging them in for City or United. That would’ve been truly unbearable.

I don't think he said that did he? Wasn’t it more along the lines of ‘Bayern are expected to win every match. It wasn’t like that at Tottenham.’ There’s a slight nuance. I don’t think it’s fair to pick apart everything he says in a press conference anyway, he’s a footballer not a PR rep.

I think this is the peak excitement I’ve felt for a match this season so far. Really looking forward to this. No doubt Chelsea will be a really tough test but we’ve got our best possible 11 out there tonight until Bentancur is back up to speed and it’s a seriously strong side.

Said how if you lose at Bayern if it's a disaster in the dressing room, but if you lost at Spurs nobody cared.
