I love how daring we are but that was a mad decision. The only reason the scoreline was respectable until injury time is because of how dumb and inept Chelsea were. They had about 200 opportunities to play someone through but they refused the pass or got it woefully wrong. Hard to justify that decision with 9 men for me

But fair play to the players (Romero aside). Couldn't have done much more.

that argument doesn't stack up for me pal. you say Chelsea were dumb amd inept, so yea, why should we have sat back?

the message Ange sends by playing like that down to 9 will stick with this squad, mark my words.

Can we all just pretend that we went in to tonight's game 8 points ahead of Chelsea and in 5th place and we won 4-1? Same result in the table but makes me feel a lot happier.

Thanks.

Could be missing quite a few big players over the next week is my biggest concern.
We was outstanding but we might be fucked now suspensions Madders suspiciously looked like it could of been an Achilles tear and VDV is certainly looking like minimum grade 2 hamstring tear
TO DARE IS TO DO
Time for Lo celso Dier and the rest of the fringe players to step up

Some interesting things tonight. In no particular order.

- The whole club has definitely bought into Ange, players and fans.
- The 9 players on the pitch gave their all.
- Vicaro was definitely the right choice.
- Cole palmer is in need of a new wig.
- Jackson scores the worst hat trick in PL history and is a complete knobber.
- Sterling is a diving cheat.
- Michael Oliver and Gary Neville both need to be fired into the sun.
- Levy never learns. Romero never learns.
- Our fans are the best in the league.

Ironic that we were all desperate for Udogie to start and then he went and got the ball rolling with that shit show with the horror tackle in the first half. Ah well, hopefully he'll learn from it. Romero really screwed up though, moments after getting away with one he does that and costs us the game. Proud of the rest of the team for the effort. Backs to the wall stuff for a while until we can get some of these injured/suspended players back. Don't think we'll see VDV again until the new year and Maddison's looked like it might be an achilles which could be bad news if so, let's hope for good news.

Chelsea players talking like they smashed us all over the park, not mentioning they did it against 9 men and still were pretty shit.

Major props to Dier and Hojbjerg, players who could have been sulking for where they find themselves in the pecking order but came in and played well considering the circumstances.
If players like them could performed when being asked by Ange, I'm not worried whoever is playing for us, even the U21s. The motivation is at the highest.

Gutted with the result obviously but proud of us. We kept trying to win even 11 v 9. Our boys have nuts of titanium.

I said early on I'm less bothered by the result as long as we keep playing our game and learning and developing, easy to say at the time but as it happens I still feel that way.
Sod the result it is a one off but we learned quite a bit about our squad and how much fight they've got. Without our two centre backs we're looking at a tough time for a while but with eleven men the team we ended with will still be a force to be reckoned with.
Vicario was so unlucky with the penalty too.
Long long way to go.
I agree entirely.
This will strangely galvanise the squad.
We‘re all in it together.

How to make a case about Levy here? :ROFLMAO:

Where were the leaders when players were losing their heads in first half? That's when we needed son, maddison and Romero to step up and unfortunately they didn't.
We can take heart from 2nd half but that should have never have happened, we needed a leader to calm the heads and we didn't get that.

Michael Oliver is no fan of us, however that is not on Oliver tonight.
