Squad stretched for next few games. Maddison needs to be fit. VDV could be months. Luckily others dropped points this weekend so damage limited.

I love Ange's style of football, but playing like that with 9 men is just stupid, think we all can agree on that. Even with 10 it is naive
Don’t agree, it was entertaining. To hell with draws, 3 points or nothing for me. If we sat back all that would happen 9 times out of 10 is they’d smother us and nick a late goal. We gave ourselves a chance and let it be known that we’re here to play. Just my opinion though, I can totally see why you see it differently

Romero will be banned for 3 games. Udogie only 1.

Against Villa I would imagine a back 4 of Porro, Dier, Emerson & Udogie.

Hopefully Davies is fit for Wolves and we can play him central with Royal at LB.
Yeah, I remembered Udogie is only 1 game just after I replied. DOH!

why the fuck is hoddle saying the players will question Ange - FFS - to dare is to do & Ange showed everyone what that actually means! We didn't roll over today and we made chelsea look average for large parts of that game. Had we kept out discipline we would have won easily & that's what the players should take away - always stay disciplined & keep our heads in the game which will allow our style of play to put away teams.

Disappointed to lose today but HELL proud of the players & the effort they showed. I've never seen a spurs side like this before and I'm so excited about what the future looks like as we develop more facets in our tactics and playing style. COYS COYS COYS!!

This was the first 'if we play this way we'll get beaten eventually' game and we'd have learned a lot from it. This was a huge lesson and one that I think will make us, not break us.

We may not have seen the pretty side of Ange's style of football tonight, but we did see the spirit at the foundation and boy, was that something to behold.

Not only that, but the players having the belief to keep playing Ange's style of football under those conditions, shows what faith they have in the manager.

My team.
We get beaten eventually is because we were two men short. We could well be vaporising them away on 11 v 11.

Never been more disappointed by a spurs team or as proud.

Thought we were crazy to persist with the high line, and we probably were, but I'll admit I was wrong, it was glorious.

Surprisingly optimistic about our chances this season, after that.

Hopefully Ange calls out lack of leadership on pitch in first half, he can do that while also praising 2nd half performance but he shouldnt shy away from calling them out over losing their heads and no one calming them down

Don't listen to Hoddle when it comes to Spurs. He's trying to be so unbiased he comes across as actually a bit weird.

Some interesting things tonight. In no particular order.

- The whole club has definitely bought into Ange, players and fans.
- The 9 players on the pitch gave their all.
- Vicaro was definitely the right choice.
- Cole palmer is in need of a new wig.
- Jackson scores the worst hat trick in PL history and is a complete knobber.
- Sterling is a diving cheat.
- Michael Oliver and Gary Neville both need to be fired into the sun.
- Levy never learns. Romero never learns.
- Our fans are the best in the league.
You forgot to add Mudryk. Any word on him?

I think this is my first disagree I've ever given on here. It's one of the big positives to take away from tonight. It was so close to working.
