Really messing with my strict dinner at 19:00 routine. I curse modern football.

Hopefully a win, villa losing.. Won't be able to watch game live on TV, as going to watch the mighty Wycombe at Wembley.. Got the game on record, so will be trying to avoid the score... 😂

Mon the Chairboys, hopefully you have a great day out (and a happy one for both Wanderers and Spurs)

So - I can’t go to this one, I’m in Egypt. 3 options available to me:
1. Hotel room, Bein in an available. Can watch and listen in comfort, no interruptions
2. One of the hotel bars shows the footy. Expect relatively sedate, but could be random fans of other clubs.
3. Union Jack pub opposite hotel - more chance of random fans, more chance of them being drunk and aggravating. Livelier atmosphere though.
Not sure what to do. What would you do?

Richarlison ruled out, article on official site. Scarlett not with the U21 this weekend, so likely involved.

Maybe start with GLC and Maddison with Bissouma?
Would quite like to see Bentancur, GLC, Maddison. Extremely technically gifted midfield 3 with plenty of creativity against the inevitable 11 behind the ball.

Only issue is without Biss and Sarr's athleticism it leaves us even more vunerable to our arch nemesis, the counter..

So Biss, GLC and Maddison probably is more balanced in that respect.

Would really love GLC to start regardless of the others as I feel his cameos in recent games have deserved it especially with Maddison being really ineffectual for a while now, whether he starts in place of Maddison or Sarr.

Record against former managers:

1-4 vs Chelsea, 23/24
0-1 vs Villa, 14/15
4-0 vs QPR, 14/15
0-1 vs Fulham, 12/13
0-0 @ QPR, 12/13
3-0 @ Fulham, 12/13

Not hugely confident!

Feeling like this one could potentially be the game where things start clicking again. Positive vibes and with other results going our way so far and even more so later (Man Utd v Liverpool) we could move into 4th above Villa on GD and open a 12 point gap over Man Utd.

So weird, over a year on from this fixture last year when we beat Forest 3-1 (days after being dumped out of the CL by AC Milan) and it felt so flat. Winning today will equal our final PL points total from last season (60) and also wins (18). Not being all happy clappy but COYS reasons to be cheerful.
