Forest have conceded the most in the league from set pieces this year, we had four early corners in the match and took them all short....

I know it's the first season in a process / project but that's just not joined up thinking.

Arsenal will spank us by 4 or 5 if we play like this against them.
That’s the problem with us atm. If you can soak up pressure against our good but not great attack we’re guaranteed to gift a team 1.5 plus xg a game and in the Prem attackers are gonna punish us more often than not.

We're not very good at all. Son isn't a CF or LW in this system. Werner is inconsistent, johnson the same, but he has age on his side. Madison has been terrible for a while now. Bissouma while not terrible hasn't been good either. All these positions need looking at. We need a massive summer to be part of the conversation next season

Porros lack of attacking influence on games has gone down hill massively as well.

he’s not been poor, just not making things happen like he was earlier in the season.

it’s actually a bit worrying that we seemed to have regressed as the seasons gone on.
Is it because Ange picks the same side every week? Is there any feeling of competition in the squad? Just asking as I am struggling to see why out of form players are kept in week after week

Horrendous last 20 mins for Bissouma.

I'd be tempted to pull him off HT.

I'm actually pining for Hoijberg for a few games

Its the same pattern every week. Territorial dominance without making it count then the opponents cut through us with any venture forward

Conte was not the right man for us, or even the right Conte.

But he was absolutely spot on about our squad's mentality, and perhaps the club's too.
I do agree although Ange is trying to change this bringing in good new characters and he himself is instilling a new work ethic and a will to win.

I think tbh it’s more the lack of quality especially in the attacking areas of the squad that is our issue right now under Ange rather than a mentality issue tbh.

Johnson is a great prospect but he’s hot and cold and Werner hits one good cross followed by 5 poor ones, neither of them are anywhere near the likes of Salah, Saka, Martinelli, L.Diaz, D.Jota, Doku, Grealish, Foden, B.Silva or other even better wingers who the top sides have had over the years.

Added to that as per the West Ham game Sonny isn’t effective as a ST with his back to goal against a low block.

Finally, Maddison is off form.

That is right now and recently why we are struggling.

It’s a shame that:
A) Ange doesn’t give Gio more gametime
B) Richy isn’t fully fit so we can play him up top against these low blocks with Sonny out left

Be patient guys, we need reinforcements this summer especially in the attacking areas.

I'd bring Bentancur and Lo Celso on early if nothing changes.

We started brightly, but really faded after a sloppy goal. Porro and Udogie been off it as well as our midfield.

Son made some great runs early on and not once did we attempt an over the top ball to find him.

I love how Ange has turned us around but we definitely have a ceiling if we carry on defending like this.

We've got massive fucking problems and I'm afraid it's coming from the coaching

We should be 2-1 down and our goal was scored by them. We haven't created anything.
The goal was indeed created by us, and also we had another cross from the same area where Johnson forced the keeper into a fantastic save. Lets not just make things up cause we’re disappointed

This is going to sound controversial but it's not meant to be. I'm getting bored of the same goal being scored. I've never remembered our avenues to goal to be so so repetitive even during the dark days

Yea he’s just not been at it lately for whatever reason. I’d be tempted to put Bentancur there and Gio on for Maddison.

Those first ten games really were an aberration. Recently, outside of villa, every other performances has been pretty average.

He's been so sloppy lately when early in the season he was technically brilliant, spraying accurate passes everywhere. I'm not sure what has happened.

It seems like with us when one player plays well who has been off- form (today Bissouma has been good until the last few minutes) someone else decides to lose the ability to play to make up for it.

Sarr and Porro in particular have been a lot more sloppy than usual. Werner also but you have to take the highs and lows with him I guess.
