Fair play to Ange, totally lost control half way through that first half, and the 2 subs in midfield at HT made a huge difference in the 2nd. And Motm performance by Micky, and what a goal.

It was so important to make the most of Villa dropping points....COYS

Villa have Pool and Arsenal too.

They also have been defending dreadfully recently.

Despite our issues we are the better team
Villa tend to turn up against the likes of Man City and Arse, I can’t say the same for us. I don’t think they‘re better team than us or have more quality than us but I feel they have a better mentality.

Kulu's final pass lately....absolute dogs hit
Just needs to get his confidence back.

He seems to delay passing a lot and doesn't take option of hitting it first time.

He came on and immediately pressed well, but in atta k his confidence is shot. Gotta get behind him and hopefully see him back to his best soon. For now though I think Werner and Johnson are ahead of him.

Well we did draw with them both earlier in the season. Plus, they lost their heads yesterday afternoon v Brentford

We beat Man City more than most other Prem teams over the last 5 or so years. We always show up against them. We usually turn over the Goons as well, especially at home.

What? They were smashed 4-1 by Man C just the other day? Not to mention they were also smashed by us 4-0 at home? They also lost to Man U at home not long ago. How is that turning up against bigger teams?

To be honest mate with the way we defend, I think Villa will take 4th spot. I cant see us getting anything from Man City, Arse, Pool and we might just get a point each from Newcastle and Chelsea as those are the only two that fail to take their chances as bad as we do.
They won't park 10 men behind the ball though, they'll come at us and that could work in our favour

We're making a bad habit of losing control in the first half of matches after wasting promising chances before.

But once again the shift in the second half was good.

Start of the season we were putting in great performances from start to finish. That's died away as the season has gone on but I am confident we'll secure UCL qualification and then we can bolster the squad.

Now Scored more points than we did all last season.
Some signings have been incredible…VDV
Completely different atmosphere around the place and team.
Finished article by no means but this is night and day from the shit sandwiches being served up last few years .
2 or 3 signings who are 1st team ready in summer and this club is going to win something.

City just stuffed them 4-1 last week. Luiz banned for 2 games. Just hope they can get something at Arse next week.

Wonder what PEH was crying about to Mickey, didn't look to happy with him. But Micky is such a cool dude and just walked away lol.
Pierre looked in a bit of grumpy mood tonight lol.
Think he was part apologising and part saying he needed a louder call when he passed blindly straight across the penalty area gifting them a strong chance.

Ange would have learnt a lot about his players today. The lack of control was concerning. It's a bit worrying that PEH has become a CM option again in this team. Looks like we may need to spend...quite a lot.

Good result. Good first 15, then awful until half time and good second half.

We'll get the full 90 someday....

Good point ptobably was. Pierre is very professional and dn't think his the type to not get on with his team mates.
