One thing that will go under the radar is Robertson’s horrid elbow on Porro near the end. I thought he should have been sent off! Clearly looked at him before hand.

The thing with the disallowed goal is this....

That goal came at 34th minute. Jones was already sent off by then.
Even if goal had stood, Spurs still had 56 minutes + stoppage time to turn around the situation.

Had that goal stood, more chance of our players waking up sooner than later.
Why am I confident we would have turned it around ? We have scored 2+ goals every single PL game this season.

IMO, in the end, that goal wouldnt have mattered much anyway

Lol I actually think winning game this way was better than trashing them 4:0 or something. Fck them, they act like they are choosen by god.

But seriously, refs and var were awful today. Two reds are the only good decisions they made. Disaalowed goal, Diaz elbow in first half, Salah "faul" on Biss and more wrong decisions.

That wasnt our best game but we had some luck. In the end wining with Liverpool you need to appreciate cause they are bloody good team. Massive 3 points.

But that was my point he wasn’t being reckless, he was just unlucky.

Whenever you attack the ball, studs up, in the vicinity of another player - you are being reckless. Thats not unlucky. You can avoid that situation by not going in studs up. Reckless does not mean intentional, nor does it mean a dirty play. Ideally we want all player to not go into tackles studs showing like Jones did today.

Nketiah - though his studs missed Vicario, was also being reckless - and arguably more so.

Liverpool were not hard done by. Full stop.

They had one bad call go against them.

That happens every week, in nearly every match.

They got themselves down to nine players on their own - and that is why they were in the situation they were in when an OG against tired defenders won the game.
Like screw them, but VAR not reviewing a definite offside is about as hard done by as it gets tbh, we'd be fucking fuming.

It's also very, very funny though, so that balances it out in my book :D :D

Oh and about VAR. I dont get comments that if even with VAR there are still mistakes we should get rid of it. Of course even with VAR mistakes still happen as there are still people behind it. But the number of major mistakes droped massivly with VAR. Most of red cards are catched, offsides, hand balls. Its not perfect but its still much much better than without it.

Just before the winner the ball had been towards the other end. We broke into a little bit of space. Neville says "oh no" when we were 30 yards from goal. He was so invested in them hanging on.

Win next week and Arse/City draw and we'll be top of the league going into the international break 👀

Obviously the greatest thing in the world would be us winning the league. But a close second would be Liverpool missing out on the league by 1 point thanks to us.

Give the guy a break he says ‘oh no’ when his beloved United walk on the pitch this season.

Bad decisions or not, its embarrassing to read that some of our fans are sticking up for them. NO Liverpool fans were sticking up for us or even mentioned anything when they got a BS pen in the CL final, or when Jota kicked Skipp in the head and avoided a blatant red which later saw him score the winner of the game, or Robertson's terrible tackle that was a clear red but went unpunished.

Fuck Liverpool and fuck their scummy, always playing the victim fans. They get to feel an ounce of what we have had to put up with over the years so forgive me if I dont shed a tear for them today.
