Absolutely. It was so weird he shouted 'oh no'.
It’s the dawning realisation that Spurs are yet another team better than Man Utd for him.

Yeh this is bonkers - the tackle looks horrendous from that angle because it was a horrendous tackle.Anyone complaining about their offside goal and VAR not intervening can fuck off as last season Jota kicked Skipp in the head and it wasn’t checked. Where is the outrage about that?
also MOTD the red card tackle looks “horrendous from that angle”… Well yes Nate, just because the TV camera angle in the first shot makes him loook unlucky doesn’t mean it’s any less of a horror tackle. **** weasels
This could be my happiest morning since Xmas 1985 when I got an Atari 2600 and 7 year old me literally fainted. What an absolutely wonderful way to beat that bunch of pricks.
The argument about Skipp seems to be “he shouldn’t have been on the pitch”, which, fine, but then you can’t complain about Jones’ red card.Anyone complaining about their offside goal and VAR not intervening can fuck off as last season Jota kicked Skipp in the head and it wasn’t checked. They can go down to 9 again then. The game at Anfield is going to be tasty. They will be baying for blood.
Brilliant point, the amount of fouls loserpool commited, in fact there was a number of bookings they should have got and I thought ref was letting them off with alot. The Jota one was a culmination of not only his tackles but the whole team.I'm glad Klopp couldn't bully the referee into giving them everything like he usually does.
Liverpool were just fouling all game. They could've got a lot more yellow cards. I can't believe Gomez didn't get one.
Hope that is not the case - that the officials almost try to even the decision up in future games. We'll get shafted by var against Luton and fuck all will be said
And the absolute horse shit Neville was coming out with about how he was trying to get his foot on top of the ball to pull it back. With his body position, stretching for the ball and the momentum he had there wasn't a single chance in hell he'd have been a) trying to do that or b) been able to do that. Just absolute bollocks from Neville and there's obviously no way Jamie "thick as shit Liverpool supporter" Redknapp is going to tell him otherwise. Pathetic coverage of that tackle which was even more of a potential leg breaker than the one last week. The reason his foot rolls over the ball is because it’s already a very high challenge. The reason his foot then forces Bissouma’s foot (which is planted in the turf) to move back several inches and rotate his whole body is because:
a) there is heavy impact; and
b) the contact with the top of the ball is so incidental that the ball absorbs none of the weight of Jones’ studs up challenge.
We’ll hear about it for days but it’s one where I’m certain all the refs will be bemused by the controversy as it’s so clear cut.
Look at Donley in that photo, proper Spurs boy and will not forget that as his first experienc in the squad
He's said that many times and in all sorts of games, from a game like yesterdays to 'lesser' games such as Southampton against Leicester or somesuch. It's just something he says when there's a fuck up or something dramatic happens.Absolutely. It was so weird he shouted 'oh no'.
Absolutely - this crap about controlling the ball nonsense. Then the narrative they tried to spin about the ref shown the freeze frame when sent to monitor. And the absolute horse shit Neville was coming out with about how he was trying to get his foot on top of the ball to pull it back. Yeah I agree. It doesn't matter if he was trying to control the ball or not. It only matters if it was dangerous, and it was.Absolutely - this crap about controlling the ball nonsense. Then the narrative they tried to spin about the ref shown the freeze frame when sent to monitor.
It was dangerous play and a red card, lucky Biss is not seriously injured.
Can you imagine had it been other way round and it was Richarlsion that committed that foul. You can guarantee that it wouldn't be defended.
