Jota's first yellow was cumulative, it wasnt specifically for that challenge. Its very fair to say he should have had a yellow before that anyway.
Jota committed 4 fouls in the 24 minutes he was on the pitch. I wouldn’t be surprised if he had been sent on with instructions to put himself about and rough up the Spurs players. Anyway he was an idiot to commit the last foul after already being booked.

imagine if united had to replay every game in which they've had a contentious/wrong decision. they'd be booked up until the 22nd century.

I don't care about twitter trolls with 13 followers, but this is a journalist that gets linked to loads on here for transfer stuff.

I was there for my first home game this season on Saturday and I can categorically say I’ve not enjoyed the matchday experience so much since the 80’s, that’s how good it is now. I haven’t had so many kisses and cuddles from strangers in my life - it was like dogging, but exclusively for old ugly geezers smelling of alcohol. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.

Forget all the fallout, all the comments, all the criticism the only thing you need to know is that this Tottenham side will find a way to win come what may. It’s amazing and the manager is a legend already.

it's shit like this that really annoys me. the absolute refusal of being seen to acknowledge anything against poor dear sweet liverpool, the nation's favourites. afaik 99% of others teams fans despise them as much as we do.

This is a case of nothing attracts a crowd like a crowd. Everyone has to have a say on it to be relevant. Its because its Liverpool and the mistake was pretty fucked up.
/sarcasm Liverpool are selflessly taking up the baton to make all of our lives easier.

The level of scrutiny and outrage in the media is ridiculous.

If the roles were reversed and it had been Son scoring a legit goal that got ruled out, we'd have had "lol, so spursy" comments at us and that would've been it.

You can't see the ball in the freeze frame for the offside so we don't know when it was played. Imagine if it turns out we're looking at the wrong frame after all this drama.

Sky sports ref watch suggesting Howard Webb will ask for the game to be replayed as he did similar in the US.

That would be unbelievable if it happened.

Ref Watch on Skysports is discussing the issues in the game.
Diaz goal was onside. We all agree
Jones red card. Both Warnock and Smith say no red and blame the onscreen shot of the incident. Dermot overruled them and said watch the full incident.

warnock bleating on about a replay because Howard Webb did it before in America that was the funniest statement I heard all morning.

the fact remains had it happened the other way around the conversation would last about 30 seconds but because Liverpool play the victim card all the time we have an extended show.

Warnock says Udogie should have been red carded for waving the imaginary card……..Warnock says not a yellow and therefore not a red. He really is digging deep into the barrel to look for excuses.

That would set an insane precedent. All the teams that haven't had a match replayed due to mistakes will be up in arms.

This has nothing to do with Howard Webb. It's his responsibility to filter out poor referees and improve the standard of refereeing in this country, which is not very good, and he should be getting on with that task.

They really think they’re getting some sort of compensation/points/replay.
The sheer arrogance of the dippers knows no bounds. The number of their fans calling for the game to be declared null and void and then replayed is a disgrace. They must think that they are the only club to have ever been on the wrong end of a VAR call yet because they are Liverpool, the game should be replayed. They honestly believe that they are something special.

Make no mistake, they are making a hell of a lot of noise about it now, so that referees feel pressured in to giving them the benefit of any further contentious VAR calls throughout the rest of the season. It needs to be called out but unsurprisingly all the usual media outlets are once again fully in their corner.

It's no surprise that they are referred to as Self-pity City FC. They love to have a sense of injustice to cry about.

Would absolutely love it if we pipped them to 4th spot by a point!!

Suck it up dippers.

This is nothing more than typical Liverpool. Always claiming they are the victims and it’s never their fault. This is nothing new, they’ve been playing the victim card for years.
