the time for optimistic sunny readings has long past. We are constantly embarrassed on the biggest stage, we are the laughingstock of the entire country.

There are many mitigating circumstances for him this season.
Granted he hasn't been a prolific PL scorer and 60m is probably too steep but it's a reflection of PL exp more than anything else.
He's not beyond redemption yet, though this season's likely a lost cause.
