Would be nice if Sarr could impress enough that he completes our CM options.

Would mean we could stop the talk of an Amorabat / Mckennie coming in and concentrate on other areas of concern.

I see Sarr and Udogie(once he arrives) being big for us. My only worry is will Conte keep them content enough not to leave. I'll throw Spence in there too.
Starting to see why Levy is thinking about Poch again - but, I think Conte can manage them well also.

I think Udogie has the size and experience to compete right away next season, Sarr could use a loan in January, and then I could see him eased in next season, and becoming a factor in 24/25.

Spence is interesting, only if we bring in a RWB in January - and that may be a sticking point with Levy/Conte. But, if we bring in a starter, then Spence is going to struggle to break into the team.

I missed the end of the game.
How did Lankshear play?

Only 17, but any chance he could step up while Richarlison is out to cover Kane. Or still too early for him

I thought Sarr had a good game when he came on. Never hid, always wanted the ball, nice touches and put in some good tackles.

Doherty has been very good down that left in both friendlies, he’s very comfortable there. He adds his knack for getting in the box at the right time, with genuine composure in front of goal. Pleasantly surprised with him.

Don’t think he even got a touch of the ball. Was only on the pitch for 30 seconds to be fair.

I see keeper- Romero- ccb- Lcb- Spence- Skipp- Bentancur- Sarr- Udogie- Kuluevski- Kane- Son being a productive 343 future for us. Spence, Udogie, and Sarr should get as many competitive minutes as possible in next 18 months imo. All at 19-23 age and could hopefully if coached right could be massive in their respective positions.

Aside from there being 12 starters, I think I might quibble with Kane being part of this team - I think he will leave this summer. Son could leave too if Conte leaves, and we look like we are embarking on a project. But, I like Richarlison already, and we would bring in replacements for Kane/Son if either leave - so I do think the future is bright.

Lol thats cuz my heart wanted Skipp in. You can drop him then and just go with Sarr and Bentancur ?
