Going to this one.

I mean we've had two weeks to plan specifically for this game.

We know what Palace will do. Low block, break us down.

A lot of our preparation has to centre around a fast start from the off. It sets the tone for the game.

Dont let them settle into their game plan, and with an early goal we could batter them.

New manager or not, we're at home.

I just want to see us start with tempo. Do that and we should win.

Going with 3-0 Spurs. Son brace and Richy.

We need to see a win and a performance . I want to see Madisson controlling the game and much better intensity . There’s no more excuses about injuries , we need to get back to playing football and winning with an element of style rather than a rare attack .

Udogie probably back? Solomon and Porro unlikely and Forster and Sessegnon longer term. That's all unless there are new ones?

Read what their new manager has said.

He made it pretty clear theyll be flexible. More progressive for some games, a low block for others (he used that exact phrase)

For Palace, Spurs away will surely fall into the latter category.

Where'd you get that Porro news from? In the week he posted on Social Media with a photo of him working out and a message advising a fan not to remove him from his Fantasy Football team. He seemed confident he'll be back for Palace.

Whilst I'd obviously take a squeaky 3-2 win if it's 2-2 and we're 4 minutes into the allotted 6 minutes of additional time I don't want to be relying on scrambling over the line in this game.

The players and the manager and coaching staff will have had 2 weeks to smart and stew on that 2-1 defeat at home to Wolves. The least we should be demanding is an improvement in tightening the ship up at the back. If we're continuing in the same vein of coughing up 4-5 gilt edged chances to the Eagles and shipping in 2 at home to Palace it spells real difficulty and a bad sign for in the run in as there will be teams ahead in that run in with a lot more attacking threat than them....

Doucoure, Holding, Olise, and Guehi are definitely out.

Eze and Hughes are 50/50.

New manager.

We've got serious problems if we can't put these lot away

Sounds good, was thinking about initial news where it sounded like Porro is out bit longer than Udogie

He’s a proper warrior how many games do you see him limping at the end of games yet he’s always back quickly . He’s only missed one game this season ? Right ?
Saw enough of Emerson last week to realise he’s not right for our system

I hate going in to a long break on the back of a defeat, it has quite literally been stewing on my mind since the full time whistle went against Wolves. The time for excuses about injuries and getting match fitness back needs to stop now and its time to put on a show. Give all you've got for 45 mins and if you are then too tired to come back out for the second half get someone else on to run their nuts off for the second 45.

Nothing but a comfortable win will be good enough for me here (although would still accept a scrappy 2-1 win if offered)

Even if Palace do low block us, they wont have the unique option of rapid pace on the counter in the same way that Wolves did. I had concerns about that Wolves game because they are uniquely setup for that low block, counter style, particularly when a team pushes up so high like we do.

Palace could sit deep but I doubt they go with 3 CBs, which should afford more chances to score from crosses. Wolves 5 across the back condensed the space. Palace should play 4 across the back and without that speed on the break I would expect that our pressure will tell, eventually.

Porro and Udogie being back will be important. Finally full strength and hopefully the 2 weeks in between has given us a chance to re-establish what worked so well for us early on in the season. Need a strong performance to take confidence into the game at Villa Park.

Need a decent victory here (scoreline and performance). There seems to be more of a vulnerability to our game that has derailed us a little, and when you look how well teams around us are performing just now, we don't want to get left behind.

7-1 please.

With two weeks solid training behind us , be dissapointing if we don't win this one.

Anybody who usually arrives via Northumberland Park Stn , it will be not be open on Saturday.

Big game this, either means we look up the table chasing down Villa after or start looking over our shoulder. With Villa next a win is crucial really.
