I really don't mind that side at all. I think there is some thinking in it and a semblance of balance in what is a very unbalanced squad.
It has got to stage when if Aurier plays you almost have to have Sissoko to back him up in the XI.
Davies plays to be part of the three as Aurier will play right winger essentially.
Gio is our best midfielder and has shaken off his knock. If Alli is fit and playing well he has to start - I don't see any argument. It is shame not to see Tanguy start but he will get his chance. I honestly think Jose knows his quality - why bother given him personalised sessions and complementing him in the press if not ?

There's a reason why teams have been given more subs, there'll be a lot of fatigue going forward, teams with strong squads will use them to the full.

I do wonder whether this will be very frustrating looking at West Ham's side. He has picked their two biggest centre backs so expecting us ate Get a few set pieces.
I do think that the bench may win the game in the second half and I think Tanguy may have something to say in it.

To be quite honest, I doubt he is happy about any of the dosh he spent last summer, only one he is seeing even a slight return on is Gio ... Last summer was fucking horrendous.

Yes but it wasn't Jose who signed him. So you can't really be pissed at Jose if he doesn't trust Tanguy enough to start ahead of players who have show him he can trust them.

It's not as if he's shown form anywhere near the requirement to be starting games. It's up to him and him alone to show he's worthy of the starting role when he gets a chance.
