That's the worry, if Sissoko gets drawn over to protect Aurier and leave the centre free
He doesn't get "drawn over" to protect Aurier.

He's under instructions to cover Aurier when Aurier attacks. It's the formation. It's been the plan ever since Mourinho arrived, except that he lost Sissoko to injury.

Disappointed to see Ndombele not getting his chance. Like seeing Lo Celso back though

Am I the only one that still believes we can catch Leicester? A win today puts us 10 behind them and they got some tough games. Long shot I know but doable if we get our shit together.

If is doing some heavy lifting there.

As I said the other day, the collective retardism from many re. the apparent shock and surprise about Ndombele not starting games is ridiculous.

Once again, if this was prime untouchable Mourinho, at a stronger point in his career at stronger teams/clubs, knowing what he values then the guy and all his silly bollocks would have been sent packing by now. He wouldn't get a look in. But Mourinho cant afford to be doing that right now, so he is still in the picture.

But fucking hell, he was never going to be starting these games initially, he's quite obviously got stuff to prove. How are you all shocked?

The guy has to knuckle down, work hard, show some bollocks, be patient and then take the opportunities that come - sub appearances and then maybe a start. That might be next week, next month, next season, might even be never...... We shall see. It's up to the player to knuckle down and claw his way back into the good books.

Completely agree and Mourinho is right in my opinion. Ndombele was a disgrace earlier in the season, the condition he was in was totally unprofessional. To throw him straight back in if/when he starts behaving like the rest of the players would be wrong imo

Haven't watched any football since lockdown, and don't plan to again. Saw my dad on Saturday who told me about the Spurs vs Man Utd game and that he stopped watching in a strop once Spurs went 0-1 down and I could totally have seen myself doing the same thing in his shoes, so fairly happy with how my decision to bin off football is going so far.

Join the club. Start fresh next season ?
