Wanyama
I know he hasn't kicked on at all since the U17 WC win but he must have wanted to leave or surely a loan would've been more reasonable?? We have reached agreement with Stoke City for the transfer of @BootheTashan.
We wish Tashan well for the future.

It has been needed for some time and I think in the summer a lot of players will go.It is a clearout. So I guess we'll see more U18's making the jump to U23 football.
Please do not start people offMakes me wonder again what might of happened to Edwards and onomah if someone else was manager.
None of the player leaving at the moment are a massive hit to us and I am only talking about the youth teams not the first team. All these youngsters leaving the club in the past week, what was the point of Poch not letting them go out on loan if they were never going to be good enough for the first team.
He wanted to keep them around to train them himself but hasn't done them any good. Their careers have been held back in my opinion.
Not current crop of course but Tom Carroll has left Swansea. Free agent.
Never worked out for him sadly. I remember "everyone" saying how amazing he'd become when he beefed up a little, but he just never has.

Austin is a good keeper and I think he is better than Whiteman who I would let go.Yeah, Clarke and maybe Roles and possibly Eyoma aside the rest of those loans are getting them out the door and them getting their actual career started. Most of those wont be back.
To be honest I don't really like seeing that long list though, for me loans should be a specific development aim - say 6 or 12 months of getting used to competitive adult football at a level where they will get lots of minutes - for a player that the club feels might have some sort of future and pathway towards the first team squad. Otherwise some players should be doing a year or two stint so we can fulfil U23 fixtures, the rest should just be released/sold to get on with their careers/lives. I just don't get what the likes of CCV for example are doing bouncing around on a different loan every six months going in and out of various teams in a permanent state of flux. He and others like him should be brave enough to go out and find somewhere they can set down some roots and build a career (for CCV, MLS surely an option with his national team rep. if he cant get an English league gig) and clubs should stop stockpiling players they have no real interest or concern in and let them go.
I mean this is great news, such a clear shift in policy under Mourinho. According to Hercules he essentially wants everyone over 18 out on loan, as feels players and club have suffered due to stifling development.
I'm sure a few of us have posted similar once or twice in this thread....
Only shame is Skipp didnt get one.

I have seen Whiteman for the u23s this year he played against Ipswich in the cup, he has not improved as a keeper and you know I like De Bie who has played a bit more this year and we also have Josh Oluwayemi who is a very good keeper.I think people forget how good Whiteman was a first year before he disappeared into purgatory. Austin is very reliable and a good keeper, but there could be recency bias. No one has seen Whiteman play football in how long. He was England's keeper and despite the completely pointless nature of it, was actually kept around the first team a lot more than Austin. So he was clearly highly thought of by our previous goalkeeping coach
