I think Scarlett and Chukwuemeka are good mates if I remember correctly. Hopefully Dane’s in his ear to get him to Spurs!Chukwuemeka looks a great player! 1 year on his deal we should be all over that.

I thought of Jimmy Greaves and how supporters and former players said he often passed the ball into the net. Dane's ooener was very composed.Just seen his goals, first one he thread that needle like a champ, super composed, that was nice to see.
That is how Greaves scored the vast majority of his goals.I thought of Jimmy Greaves and how supporters and former players said he often passed the ball into the net. Dane's ooener was very composed.
It sounds basic but I always wonder why more players don’t just pass the ball in. If you imagine the post is a player and you ask most players to pass a ball 20 yards 95% of time they will get it straight to a players foot. Make it a goal and they end up shooting 10 yards wide. Shows how much is psychological in that position.
All interviews I’ve seen with Dane he comes across as extremely grounded and aware of the hard work that’s ahead of him to become a great player. Also heard him say he idolises Kane and dreams of emulating him. Him and Devine are incredibly exciting, cannot wait to see them start to make their breakthrough in a year or so’s time!Kane scored 6 in 14 games for England under 19s. Dane currently has 12 in 12 at this level. If Dane shows Harry's work ethic and self belief we will have another exceptional forward in a couple of years time.
Do you know who Chukwuemeka reminds me of? Josh Onomah. He has exactly the same attributes at the same point in time which allowed him to stand out in the younger age groups.I'm not as convinced that Chukwuemeka is a star in the making as others are suggesting. Though he clearly is a massive talent. My doubts are many. One of them is simply positional, I'm not sure where he would play at the top level. He is nominally a CM but seems more like an attacking player to me, as a CM he want be able to play like he has in the under 19s at the top level.
My other doubts come from this: he is a big lad and a great dribbler and striker of the ball. Now at under 19s he is bullying and gliding past players in the adult game they'd just shove him off the ball. Now obviously he has talent but I'm not sure how that will translate to the top game. He'd have to be more patient at that level and pick his moments and judge his runs.
So for me he is the most talented player for sure but not necessarily the most likely to make it as a professional. For me Alex Scott impressed me a lot, very mature and good runner but also tenacious and disciplined. I'm not surprised he is now a starter in the Championship, you can tell.
Scarlett also impressed me. Forget the finishing what I liked was how many free kicks he won. When he managed to chest a long ball onto his feet and turn and swivel himself to a free kick was wonderful centre forward play. But he did it all day.
The other one who impressed me was Cox, again he looks well rounded not far from the professional game. The other fullback, the arsenal lad, looks a real talent but also was out of position a lot and often overplayed even though his raw attributes are phenomenal.

Like Josh there is a question in regards his work rate whilst on the pitch. Clearly a talented lad but will be interesting if he continues to improve. However, just to put his level in some context, Jude Bellingham is only four months older then him and is light years ahead of him regarding his all round game and experience.

Agree is there any point in keeping people on to help fulfill these fixtures and allow us to loan out players rather than releasing?Glad we’re playing in this again this season. But if we intend to let players develop out on loan while also putting out teams in this and in PL2, as well as competing seriously in UEFA Youth League, we’re going to need to bring in some more bodies.
