Who's Perkins' agent? Sorry if this is common knowledge...I have heard Brooks on other podcasts before but didn't think he was an agent.

I believe he runs the talent agency Sonny is with. Could be wrong.

I just had a quick check and it’s one of only six pages that he follows on twitter, and his last tweet was this:

Yeah - amended my top comment. Regardless hopefully there will be something interesting on the pod if he is asked.

Brooks is a coach. He does have a talent/scouting agency but I don’t think he acts as an agent. He may have an arrangement with agents providing them heads up for talent and getting a finders fee or %. But I’m sure he probably knows where Perkins is going.

At U16 level he was considered pretty good, even regularly played for England, but I think he's had a very underwhelming 2 years as a scholar where he actually fell behind Adam Hayton, barely played and let in loads of goals when he did. I have not been impressed at all. So much so that I was pretty surprised that with all of the second years we recently let go that Maguire managed to get himself a pro contract.

On his insta story Scarlett just put up a tune “ straight back to it “ and a footy picture. May indicate his going straight into pre season and on the tour. You’d imagine if he is then so is Devine.

From watching the U19’s this summer I really hope we follow up on rumored interest in Alex Scott and Ronnie Edwards. We have to sign youth in addition to first team players for Conte so hopefully Paratici is still planning to do this.

Totally agree - I think if we do go back in for them it’ll be late in the window though, as I’m pretty certain any deal would involve them remaining on loan at their current clubs.

Definitely something we need to be looking at more, we have been struggling with homegrown players lately. Makes sense to snap them up younger.

Totally agree. Hayton actually took his opportunity really well coming in for the injured Gunter.
