I'd have said to the boss, look bale is a much better LB than me, let him play there instead - now where's that bar for a pint before the game starts 
but thanks for picking me shelfside - I'll rep ya if I can
on a serious note I really don't rate BAE - i keep saying we should play Bale LB - i know we have injuries but to me we get so much more out of Bale from LB (he made or goal from there yesterday IIRC)
to me play a mid, even if it's livermore (no disrespect to him,I really rated him when he played at wembley last time for us and think he could do a job for us on sunday, but i understand harry's reluctance)
we'll get more from a mid of even bentley modric wilson niko v pompey with Bale at LB than the alternative
and no BAE at RB pleeeeze - stick wilson there, anyone half-sensible
we so need one of corluka hudd king and daws back for the semi-final
preferably two
