I like that team, still want us to go three at the back, particularly with our weakness from defending set pieces. Arsenal though are maybe not the team to risk switching to that formation.

After tonight I think Bryan has very much put himself in the frame to start, particularly with Lucas and Bergwijn out.

Conversely, Lo Celso has played himself onto the bench, to be quite honest.

Japhet must play at RB. Dier has now become the lynchpin at CB and both Romero and Sanchez play better alongside him. Don't mind which of them starts but leaning toward Romero.

The conundrum is in central midfield. Skipp should arguably come back in, he was awesome last night and his battling will be welcome in an NLD. Dele was also creative last night, 1 assist and another great cross that Bryan should've scored from. So it's any 3 out of Skipp, PEH, Dele and Tanguy. I love the way Skipp and Tanguy linked up. Nuno is likely to go more solid to start so expecting the following:

Lloris
Japh Romero Dier Reg
PEH Skipp Dele
Son Kane Bryan

Start with this and look to keep it tight initially. They'll likely come out fast but once it settles we should be able to get a foothold and then potentially introduce Tanguy, GLC etc later on, particularly if it's still 0-0. Son and Bryan give us speedy, skilful outlets. Dele and PEH can both be creative but will also understand the need to battle initially.

Lloris -
Tanganga, Romero, Dier, Regulion -
Højbjerg, Skipp, Ndombele -
Son, Kane, Dele.

My thinking:
Romero has warrant a start. Sanchez too, you could argue, but we need Dier in there too.
Tanganga knows what the game means, has been superb this season and while I do think Emerson is a better RB, I do not consider him better suited for this game.
Skipp comes back in after a good performance yesterday, and as with Tanganga he knows what’s at stake.
Ndombele must play for our attack to tick.
Son providing width on the right, and Regulion on the left. Dele moves central when we’re in posession - like Gio yesterday - where we can use his link-up play, runs off Kane and pressing work. He played from the left under Poch multiple times. Love what I’ve seen from Bryan so far but I’d prefer Dele in this game.

what's emerson done to start over tanganga? japh is made for this game.

Yep. After that shit show of total gutless surrender in the same fixture last year, the (on form) home grown lads need to be in this game because they just get what it means.

Tanganga, Skipp & that Wantaway lad up front should all be selected, in my opinion.

And even though they spilt opinions, the likes of Alli & Dier should also get the nod. They "get it" when it comes to derby matches & that's what we need.

So that's Tanganga, Alli, Skipp, Wantaway & Dier, with Lloris behind them all.

Fuck knows after that. I just want players actually willing to fight for the the club in a fixture that demands that as a bare minimum.

Sanchez over Dier/Romero for this one IMO, he always plays well vs Aubameyang. Tanganga can match Tierney's pace so him over Emerson Royal too.

Lloris
Tanganga, Sanchez , Dier, Regulion
Højbjerg, Skipp,
Son , Ndombele, Bryan
Kane

Poch used to like 4-2-3-1, does it still work or is it not fashionable any more. Like to see Ndombele much nearer to where it matters like Eriksen at his best. PEH and Skippy can provide defensive stability , N'dombele & Bryan creative spark, Sonny & Harry the goals , Tanga & Reggie can do the Walker Rose double act, easy peasy.
Give Ndombele 60 minutes then either Dele or Lo Celso to take over, all this assuming Lucas & Stevie still unavailable.

Arsenal has looked alot more solid with Partey, Tomiyasu and Gabriel starting.
Kane and Son would need their A-games for this if we were to score.
Conversely I think the Scum still lack goals in them, and I can't seem them pressing high. Therefore I think Tanguy could play in this.

Really surprised to see anyone still has Dele in the side. Torn between Bryan and Lo Celso for the last attacking role.

After Wolves, it is clear Bryan must play. Here's how I would line up:

Lloris
Tanganga - Romero - Dier - Regi
Skippy - PEH
Son - Ndombele - Bryan
Kane

Start with Gil instead of GLC then we've got GLC to come on for Ndombele when he gets tired in the second half (was a successful sub many times under Mourinho).

Other than that I think Tanganga over Emerson and Skipp over Dele.

Imo Gil for Dele & possibly Skipp for Gio.

Absolutely! We've got a dreadful record at The Haemorrhoids but that has to change, starting Sunday!

There is bound to be a whirlwind start from them and with 10 goals conceded in our last 4 matches would think PEH & Skippy need to start in midfield for defensive cover. Leave the rest to Nuno but with Gil looking as though he is not afraid of hard work tracking back and tackling then if Stevie & Lucas not fully fit could be his chance.

can't believe you say about people having dele in their sides, but then say you're torn between having gio on the field - who is worse imo! none of them are good enough right now, But we dont have anyone else do we? sad state of affairs.
