I would be surprised to see any changes to the starting 11, but I'd like to see Ryan Sess. get some minutes in this game and Stevie B. also get a few more than 10 minutes against Norwich. Lucas is holding down his place right now, but Stevie against more tired players could bring rewards
A must win~ like all games now.

I'm expecting him to go with the same team which is understandable as we create the base but due to the increased intensity and short turnaround between brentford and Norwich whilst also taking into account that it's Norwich, I wouldn't mind seeing some rotation, particularly in midfield with Hojbjerg. If Lo Celso wasn't injured then I'd be interested in the 3-5-2 from the off in this one but he is so there we are.

Personally I’d make a few changes- 2 or 3 at most. This will help to integrate our so called second string And hopefully improve their confidence, familiarity with contes tactics etc

knowing sess won’t be involved on Thursday we will need to rest Reggie so that’s One change and then maybe bring in the likes winks, tanganga Or bergwyn too

I'm with Bubs. Keep the same starting 11, keep feeding Kane & eventually he's going to score.
Conte can rotate the squad next Thursday for the match against Rennes.

These are must win games. Not a time to start fkin around giving others a chance. They had a chance (again) and they blew it (again).
Who cares if it upsets some of them? Some of those will be gone next month and the rest several months later so fuck 'em.
Same starting 11

I’d be interested to see Bergwijn in for Moura. Moura has had the worst pass competition in the last few games but he probably would be unlucky to lose his place. I wouldn’t complain if we are unchanged.

Lucas is playing terribly. Something like 52% passing success rate in the last game, down from 60something percent the previous game. He’s not scoring or assisting. Needs to be upgraded in January, in the meantime, for the Norwich game we have to give Bergwijn or Gil a chance.

Same 11, and same 11 again v Rennes
Please none of the awful B teamers who let us down time and again
Both games are must wins unless you don't care about ECL, but I do massively
See what Conte thinks on Thursday, if he picks another rubbish line up like against Mura then I guess he doesn't care
Anyway back to Norwich, no passengers, same as v Brentford, 11 players who actually give a...

I personally hope we fuck off the ECL. Having clear midweeks will enable us to make massive strides under Conte and also allow him to work with 13 or 14 players until he gets better reinforcements.

Yeah, same team. Players will be buzzing to go again on Sunday. Maybe swap out Lucas for Bergwijn or Gil. Though, I would really like to see a 352 with Tanguy behind Kane and Son but I know Conte will stick to his 343.

Same 11 i feel.

We are beginning to see passages of play forming so continue to work and improve on that. Keep building and get this team understanding what Conte expects before swapping and changing.

Yeh, It's annoying because Reggie has started to look like the player we thought we were getting. Two goal involvements (urgh) in two games and looking much happier at LWB. But we will need him in the 'must win' game on Thurs. I think Sess will have to play at least some part tomorrow, if not start. Time for him to show why we spent so long trailing him.

I quite liked the 3-5-2 that we finished with on Thursday. If we are looking to rest a couple with Rennes in mind on Thursday (and only if we are looking to do that) then I can see a situation where the MF three is Skipp - Winks - Hojberg. Norwich is the sort of match that we could sneak Winks into without doing too much damage (?), especially in a MF with both Skipp and Hojbjerg.

We are clearly going to have to use Winks over the next month, so it's no use casting him out. We just have to give him the right protection so that he can do the things that he is actually decent at.

Winks is playing well. He's probably a better fit for Conte than Højbjerg. I wouldn't be surprised or upset to see him start a few games.

The main thing is he is attacking spaces like he used to in his pomp.

Fair play to the lad.

I think the way to get the best out of him is to play him in a 3 with PEH and Skipp. In a 2 he just leaves us completely exposed out of possession. I'm still not sure he has a long term future here even if we do migrate to a 3-5-2, but for the next month or so we can't ignore him.
