Another big match – our third consecutive London Derby in the Premier League.

With José's first XI starting to feel cemented, the big question for this one is likely going to be who starts – Ndombele, Lo Celso, or both?

It's tough to drop Gio after his performance v Antwerp, but having also played against Arsenal this week it could be wise to rotate him for this one as he continues to regain his fitness (with an eye on starting him against Liverpool on Wednesday).

Let's see your predictions. I'm going with:

Son Kane Bergwijn
Ndombele
Hojbjerg Sissoko
Reguilon Dier Toby Aurier
Lloris

Subs: Hart, Davies, Rodon, Lo Celso, Lucas, Bale, Vinicius

Personally, I’d like Lo Celso to play against Liverpool, so think he should get a weekend off.

Very tough one this. I think the issue is 2 matches in 4 days with minimal rotation is fine, but Leicester on Sunday, the 3rd in 7 days, is a huge ask and I don't think anyone should have to do 270 minutes aside from Lloris and maybe Dier. Aurier and Reguilon are going to have extremely difficult weeks, facing Zaha + Eze, then Salah + Mane, then (maybe) Vardy + Under + Barnes. maybe Davies+ Doherty plays vs. Leicester.

Unfortunately I don't see Jose trusting anyone but PEH/Sissoko/TN/Lo Celso in centre midfield. That is my biggest worry, especially with N'Dombele and Lo Celso struggling for fitness - Winks is out of form and not defensively solid enough, and Dele is not going to start against top 4 sides. Oliver Skipp, you can't come back soon enough.

for Palace:

Lloris
Aurier-Rodon-Dier-Reguilon
PEH-Sissoko-N'Dombele
Bergwijn-Kane-Son

Our Chelsea lineup. Should do this with a view for Toby to play both Leicester and Liverpool, and try to sub Bergwijn/Son as early as possible.

I’d be amazed if glc doesn’t start after playing so well last night, it’s all about momentum.

It is hard to disagree with this line up as it has emerged as Jose's first choice over the last month or so, and his team choice and subs last night also support this. Only question mark really is Ndombele vs Lo Celso, and I think there is a chance that Jose will 'reward' Lo Celso for his determination and never say die attitude.

As you all have been saying, three tough matches in seven days. I’d like to see us rotate 3-4 players for each game to cope.

Palace
4-2-3-1: Lloris - Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Regulion - Sissoko, Højbjerg - Bale, Lo Celso, Son - Kane.

With Lo Celso getting 90 yesterday, we will probably see him rested. But I’d like to see him start and Ndombele coming in around the 60 minute mark. Bale in and around the box with Palace playing a low-block. Sissoko to make up for Bale being more offensive.

Liverpool
4-2-3-1: Lloris - Tanganga, Alderweireld, Dier, Regulion - Sissoko, Højbjerg - Bergwijn, Ndombele, Son - Kane.

Ndombele extremely important here with his press-resistance. Tanganga has played well against Mané before and Aurier is gonna need the rest. Bergwijn is starting for obvious reasons.

Leicester
4-2-3-1: Lloris - Aurier, Alderweireld, Dier, Davies - Sissoko, Højbjerg - Lucas, Lo Celso, Son - Kane.

Regulion, with 45 mins yesterday as well needs a rest here. Ideally Toby too, so maybe Rodon coming in? Sissoko and Højbjerg have to play. Lo Celso coming in for Ndombele who hopefully manages 90 midweek.

Lloris
Aurier Rodon Dier Reguilon
Sissoko Hojbjerg Lo Celso
Bale Kane Son

think what’s important is to make sure that Ndombele and Gio both Have legs for the Liverpool game and to only play whichever one starts for an hour.

Against Liverpool I’d like to see our usual midfield of tanguy, Hojbjerg and Sissoko but open to the possibility of Gio on the RW position

We'll need a bit more creativity than grit for this one so i'd swap out Sissoko for Tanguy. I'd go with Bale over Bergwijn too because of his ability to blast in a worldie.

Same as last weekend except Tanguay back in for GLC.

3 points here is a must, I expect the Liverpool game to be similar to Chelsea and he'll play for the point so GLC would be best for a busy midfield.

Tough decisions to make on this one. Lo Celso can rightly say he'll expect a start after the performance last night but I'd really want to stick with Bergwijn if we can. Palace have some fast and dangerous players that we'll need to keep quiet and I want to see more of the defensive covering from Bergwijn and Sissoko that we've seen in the last few big games. Clearly Son, Kane and Hojbjerg aren't going to be dropped so the only way I see him getting into the side is if Mourinho leaves out Ndombele but I think that's unlikely.

Palace are a decent side. They've scored as many as City this season and more than Leeds who's football everyone has been wanking over - we need to be on our game for this one. Win here and we'll know that we can stay ahead of Liverpool as long as we avoid defeat against them, and with Chelsea having a tricky away game against Wolves in midweek (after Everton away this weekend) then we could even start to pull away from them if we get lucky.

GLC rewarded with the start. Could bring Sissoko on as the standard 65’ sub for Ndombele. Also allows someone to be more rested for Liverpool. Could also see Bale start this with Bergwijn coming on for him as a sub to have 2 more rested for Liverpool. Liverpool’s the big one. We need to be as fresh as possible. We should have enough to win this without Sissoko & Bergwijn. But we must not lose to Liverpool. Have a feeling if they go top, they wont lose it. To win the league, we must get points from this game.

I think you're right, although I'd like to have seen both N'Dombele & Lo Celso play together & then go with one of them against L'Pool.

Now I think about it - saving Ndombele for Liverpool might make sense. He is our best player for withstanding an opposition pressing game - remember Dembele having a few good games against them - so keeping him fresh for this one whilst letting Gio continue his momentum could be the way forward.

Zaha is their major real threat , stop him and Palace usually lose.....so Sissoko must play in that role supporting Aurier imo.

I prefer Ndombele vs Palace, we will need to keep the ball and he is very good at that. GLC vs Liverpool, he contributes in defense and is decent to play counterattack.

GLC earned the spot, Sissoko and Bergwijn to control Zaha's side. Otherwise full strength, we should not think about Wednesday, full focus on Sunday first.

If we lack creativity and need a goal, Ndombele first sub.

I'd have thought Ndombele would be ideal for this game, and Gios combative style perfect for Liverpool.

The team picks itself for the other 10.

I wouldnt be at all surprised to see Bale start though.

That's a great line up for Sunday. Both Aurier & Sissoko will have their work cut out trying to contain Zaha, hopefully freeing up Lo Celso to weave his magic going forward. COYS!!
