If we were playing Champions League we would be playing our strongest team. No reason to not do the same. Inputs a sense of urgency, get a couple goals early and try to administrate the match. That's the only I see us approaching it.

Zagreb aint a bad side, especially at home, thrashed Atalanta 4-0 last season, who themselves are a very good side.
Have a rich history of producing top players, Modric, Boban, Prosinečki, Kovacic etc

Rest Toby and Hojbjerg midweek. Go full strength at the weekend.
Then rotate 1 or 2 players against weaker teams, and full strength against better teams.

Getting top 4 is going to be really difficult. It’s not as if we have to catch one team. Chelsea. Everton West Ham are all in it. If Liverpool come to life they might get back in.
An Everton win tonight might be best as it keeps Chelsea in striking distance of us and I feel Everton are more likely to blow up. Thought Leicester might struggle but managed 3 pts v Brighton.
We do have Utd. Leicester and Everton to play so we just have to keep winning. At least Jose looks like he is going to attack. Our defenders are not good enough to play defensive football.
Europa looks the best bet. Could do with Milan knocking out Man Utd.

Luckily their badge has the Liverbird on it instead of a Phoenix.

Speaking to people and seeing the posts on this - it's interested how differing people's approach is.
Zagreb will be no roll over but then we have some excellent players who did play long period on Sunday such as Dele. I will be fascinated to see how we go.

I think he has to go strong & hope we put a few past them to make the 2nd leg easier, although he's already said that PEH is going to be on the bench. He can make 5 subs I believe, so if we do put a few in he could look to sub a few early in the 2nd half.

I think Son is in depserate need for a rest. And i think he will save Lucas's energy and pressing for Sunday. One i'm unsure about is Bergwijn. Could well be Bale again.

I believe the way to go is play your best team if you can get the game won and with five subs bring on the second string .
I notice lately Liverpool have been going down the route of starting with key players on the bench and as their form is poor they are brought on to rescue the match and its not working .
As I say best get the match won then bring on the cavalry .
Incidentally those that have been calling for the resting one if not all three SKB have been proved wrong yet again .
I dont believe our second string players are good enough to win us games personally and trying to retrieve games where you are one or two goals down with 15 to twenty minutes left of a game rarely works even with SKB .

Need to go as strong as possible whilst rotating the players that need it. Hojbjerg needs a break as Jose said. And I’m amazed Bale and Alderweireld got through 3 games in a week so better to play it safe and save their legs for the NLD. Hopefully we can get a 2 or 3 goal cushion and take some of the big guns off.

I want this trophy too but do we get it if we run our best players into ground?

Dele, Dier, Sissoko, Tanguy, Davies and Lamela should come in as they did not start on Sunday and that has to be good enough to get a good result at home. You can debate about Tanganga, Vinicius and Bergwijn and rather play first teamers but there is no harm in rotating some fresh legs in, especially before a NLD.

Once you get to this level it is either folly or arrogance to think you can roll teams over without your best players .
