Obviously change has to happen at this point. The pressure is on, the critics have turned up the heat, and the fans are restless. It was one thing to roll with what we knew after a rough three game stretch, but after Newcastle at home it's clear we need a return to the drawing board. I like to think Poch & Co have done the same. For me, I will simply give credit to @S.Mouse! (which is an excellent song btw) and the lineup he posted:

Lloris;
Naughton, Fazio, Vertonghen, Rose;
Stambouli, Mason;
Lamela, Kane, Eriksen;
Soldado.

Completely agree.

This is pretty much the line up I'm hoping to see, saying that I'm sure Kaboul will start ahead of Kaboul and unfortunately I think Ade will start instead of Soldado. The only thing I would like to see at some point this season is Lamela starting in the number 10 position behind the striker.

Naughton Dier Vertonghen Davies

Mason Stambouli

Lamela Kane Eriksen

Adebayor

Subs: Vorm, Chadli, Fazio, Soldado, Capoue, Paulinho.

Rose for Davies and I wouldn't be too adverse to that, Kane pushed up alongside Adebayor though in a 4-2-2-2 shape.

Sorry but after Sunday Adebayor should not wear the Spurs shirt again, the man is a disgrace with his laziness

capoue has been one of our better players this years, why is he getting dropped at the first sign of trouble?

I'd personally go Naughton for Dier, Soldado for Adebayor and maybe Kane for Eriksen. Kane is still an excellent option to have from the bench.

Gotta disagree there. Take a look at the pattern here, he's performed well enough over there in matches where even Lennon has had solid performances. His positive performances in the cup matches aren't a result of his position, it's a result of the opposition and with how much less anxiety we play with in those matches.

Andros Townsend was man of the match last season so he'll have good memories. I'd go with:

Lloris
Naughton Fazio Vertonghen Rose
Capoue Mason
Lamela Eriksen Townsend
Kane

Subs : Vorm Dier Kaboul Dembele Chadli Soldado Adebayor

And it's not only that - he just doesn't link up well.

When he's about his game he's unstoppable as a force, but it's just too rare and we can't afford to bare his shit performances until he decides he wants to play properly.

That would be my team.

Pochs team though will most likely include Kaboul, Capoue, Chadli and maybe Adebayor for Dier, Benji, Kane and Soldado.....

Soldado, Kane and Lamela to start.

Naughton, being a natural RB, playing allows Pochs tactical system to be implemented a little better too.

I think there is a desire to see more grit in the M2, capoue has been very good imo and will pass it all day but it does feel like we could do with a bit of nasty next to Mason at times to sit and kick people more as well as distribute the ball effectively.

I'd like to see him against villa who can be quite aggressive of late.
