Just breathed a huge sigh of relief. The transfer window, AKA 'silly season' AKA 'bullshit barnstorm' is finally over.

Some encouraging signings, though I'm disappointed we didn't manage to get a central midfielder (I'm not having a pop, I know the club did try).

But now we can all look forward to the football again.

did I ever tell you about the time a police horse trod on my toe in the 1960s - we were playing Manu that day too - of course they had Best Law and charlton in those days ....................
