I know there have been a few posts from the other members thanking Andy for his ticket donation on sunday but i thought it was worth it's own thread.
For those who missed it. Andy had 3 spare tickets to the game on sunday and kindly donated them to three random SC'ers. It was a great day and i'm now appreciating his generousity.
I will admit that i start this tale by highlighting that before i left the house on sunday, i did turn to my housemate and proclaim "just off to meet three strange men from the internet - if i'm not back by 10pm please ring the police".
The first thing that strikes me is that these tickets could have been touted for financial gain, I'm sure there were some people somehere on his phone book that would have wanted to go along. Not only did Andy have said prized tickets but being the swanky cool cat he is, they were executive seats with access to the lilywhite lounge. I was revelling in my free nosh and teamsheet annoucements. So i thank you for the kindness in giving these seats away when for most of us this wouldn't have been the first option on our minds.
Secondly it was fantastic to meet three genuinely nice chaps with a strong interest in supporting our team. Great to have some spurs discussion and learn a little more about you guys. Mike, Chris (Andy), it was a pleasure and would gladly watch a game (bar or WHL) with you guys again.
Happy monday to all,
