Honestly, I'm always surprised ANY deal gets done before deadline day. There is literally no benefit for WBA to rush Berahino off. So long as he isn't forcing the issue, WBA get to keep their star player on a paltry salary.

We've been told that Berahino is waiting on a bigger club coming in for him, so it figures that's where we are.
I imagine WBA know where we are with it but with three weeks to the deadline, there's no massive urgency to commit right now. Nobody will come in for him and we'll get him probably about three days before the window shuts.

Sounds promising on NJie but no so much on the other known targets. Looks like the majority of the ITK is correct on those being later in the window deals if they come off.

Even if those targets don't come off we do have it on good authority however that Poch has very recently been looking at a pair of 19 yr olds from one of the best youth academies in Europe that play in the roles we are looking to fill. Both have been capped for their national side since U17 level.

I'm grateful to Grey Fox for stopping by. The actual content of his ITK doesn't whip me into a posting frenzy. The rest of August, we should be able to win points and play well regardless of reinforcements. If we can't bring it vs. Stoke & Leicester with the squad we have, we've got more problems on our hands than a shiny signing can patch up. So, please let Spurs take their time to do the transfers right.
