Really sad if true. He is so talented and is likely to spend this season on the bench because he doesn't want to put the work in. He has the ability to be a world class player.

Frustrating as I can see him ripping it up at other clubs and we are going to lose a load of money on him because of his work ethic. Wonder whether we could loan him with an obligation to buy at the end?

Nothing ever works out for us does it. Record signing is a flop and can't be bothered to play. We can't scrape together any money for serious transfers according the the latest itk but 'big' clubs can.

Harry Kane will be gone next summer and none of us can blame him. No ambition on the field as per usual. Can't fault Levy and Enic with the stadium it's great but the rest of it is a shambles.
No CL is going to cost us 100 mil plus. There's your big club signings right there.

Last time we heard news that Ndombele refused to train and play for Tottenham day after José said its not true and he doesn’t have a problem with him. He also said Tanguy in lockdown worked really hard and was committed
If Jose or the club for that matter make any negative press regarding him then that would set alarm bells off for any interested parties and we'd get very little of our money back. The club and Jose have played this right, there's been so many noises from his camp yet we've stated we have no intention to sell and Jose hasn't been drawn in to it too much (after Brighton game yes).

I'm sure this won't be a popular opinion but every performance on the pitch by TN I have been nothing but impressed by his work rate and pressing in addition to his obvious technical gifts.

If he truly has a bad attitude in training it thus far hasn't shown up on the pitch. I sincerely want Spursto keep him, or at the very least play him enough to show off his obvious world class talent, then we can sell him for profit in January (maybe even time on the pitch will improve his training attitude).

JM has a history of freezing out bad attitudes that ended up being terrible decisions(lambasted De Bruyne for training performances and attitude, same with Pogba).

It is easy to be swayed by good recent results we have had from JM but I think they have significantly flattered our actual performances which have been DESPERATE for a flair midfielder like TN. I'm terrified that a year from now TN will be putting in world beater performances for an elite side and JM will be getting paid double to be a commentator. Hope to death I am wrong but right now I see a player who has given nothing but good performances clashing with a manager with a history of player clashes

Well I loved him before he signed and was willing to give him a second chance but anyone that was at the Wolves home match in the stadium like me must have struck by him - possibly the most abhorrent, abject display I have seen from a Spurs player in the flesh I have seen. Ever.

Hmmmm, this is nonsense. Driven by the fact that you obviously dislike Mourinho. Tanguy hasn't impressed with his work-rate or his pressing, he's looked decent in fits and starts but nothing as special as you make out.
I'll back the manager on this one and if Tanguy is tearing things up in a years time? Then good luck to him, he'll have learnt his lesson and decided to pull his finger out.
We can't afford to wait for him.

Europa League will generate at least half of what we did bring in from CL though. There is money but it’s limited.

How do u work that out? Surely it’s the players fault?
I have no idea why it has come to this, but my guess is that it’s not that simple. It was a big move for Tanguy, for his agent, for the club, for Levy, for Poch (and later José), for the team, for the scouts and probably for his and our sponsors. For whatever reason the big move failed, and I’m sure there are several fingers pointing at different directions when it comes to taking the blame. Tanguy probably has his reasons for not wanting to stay. José and others probably has their reasons for wanting to get rid. That’s the failure.

Not surprised to hear the itk about TN. It hurts me to think we could have got Bruno Fernandes for less last summer....

Definitely need to shift him asap even at a loss as his £200k a week will certainly add up very quickly!

It’s incredible that a player who struggled to convince coaches that he had the fitness to play professional football would have so little drive and determination. Do we know how he settled (or didn’t) in London?

Fair to say his performance in this 14 minute cameo down 2-3 wasn't his best showing but I'm not willing to say his attitude shows up on the pitch from that kind of a sample.

Thanks for all the ITK guys. Long time lurker here who has to ask those defending TN... did you see him against Wolves and Burnley (a).
The geezer can’t/won’t run... ever. That’s clearly attitude.

My worry is, if as the ITK suggests we want to sell him, who are we getting £40 mil plus from?? Last summer we all wanted him here, but where was the competition for his signature? In hindsight it should have been a red flag that seemingly no other CL club were interested. After the season he’s just had, plus COVID I fear we won’t get anywhere near what we paid...

For me the jury is out on Mourinho, I like some things I have seen and disliked others, just think it is easy to get carried away by the results and we should be wary of the fact that he has driven away world class players based on "bad attitude" who have not had that issue anywhere else. Obviously the ITK indicating multiple sources saying this training attitude is a problem is bad news, but again, I tend to think his performances showed good attitude and ability. Just want a long term approach.

Let’s hope we can find someone to pay the money we’re going to want sooner rather than later.

Or failing that, if a big club with players we’re interested in come in for him, perhaps there’ll be a DL special to be done that way.
