Funny isn't it, when you see it written down like that? Like its all bang on, but most of the time i still think of us as the 'little old Tottenham' from years passed, when the reality is we're an enormous, global football club that is more than capable of mixing with the elite and staying there. We just need trophies, it really is time to end the heartbreak ?

Since the stadium was completed, we've fumbled about trying to get traction, despite having the infrastructure in place.

By the sounds of things 22/23 sees us get a grip!

I always felt this was the grand plan and it makes total sense. Build the training ground, then stadium to generate the income to spend big and finally the elite team. It's just a long way to get to the final stage unless you get financial doping from suspicious owners.
I would also add the academy to that as that seems to have been one of first things we changed. It's one thing to have facilities but also another to have the quality youth to develop there. Levy always said he wanted to make us one of the biggest clubs in the world and now we're getting signs how serious he was.

It really is crazy the difference two weeks makes. If we can finalise Bastoni and add a CM and forward of the same calibre as him and Perisic I genuinely think we would have a shot at the title even if City have Haaland

Lovely to hear how aggressive we are being with the Bastoni deal. Sounds complicated, but getting the flywheel in motion in May for a deal like this, is rare for us. If you include Forster and Persic, we may have completed 3 signings by the end of the first week of June. And if there is some truth to us having an interest in Eriksen, that also feels like a deal that could be completed rather quickly. Those four alone, represent an excellent window. But something tells me there will be more. Not to mention all of the likely outgoings too. Great summer for us methinks. ?
