Using the ITK's info, it sounds like there were/are 5 players being discussed this window:

-Ryan Sessegnon (ongoing from last summer and will drag into this summer)
-Lucas Moura (one of 'the two', which is nearly done...)
-Malcolm (we'll need to wait for the summer)
-The 'straight into the first 11 player' (which didn't happen)
-The 'other one' of the 'two' (who we are still negotiating over)

looks from earlier posts in this thread that the player was Bale or Modric

i thought it might have been Arturo Vidal or Arda Turan

I must confess, I've been scan reading these threads, but even so I thought Herc said that wasn't the case

Could be completely wrong...

Plus a dream signing from Germany which wouldn't happen till the summer. Some people think that might be Pulisic as Herc mentioned him a few months back. Ether way it will be a long old wait.

Don't believe so as Herc mentioned that we are interested in the German based player after JJ said the first 11 player is going elsewhere.

Halfway down the page look for Hercs post, he mentions the "under the radar", ie JJ's mystery man, then later talks about a dream signing...

Crazy when we would be hoping to get that for Rose if we sold him.

In some ways that's true but if Sessegnon makes anything like the progress he looks like he's capable of, in a couple of years time what will his value be? A lot more than £50m, and a lot more than Danny Rose will be, because of age and potential as well as the way the market has changed.
