Sorry for asking the question several hours after it was first posed, but has there actually been any credible itk about Jurgen (and by credible I don't mean Tottenham_Teddy or whatever his name is)?
Something that I wish people would remember when describing players as 'legends'.Indeedy-doody. Just like when Klinsmann abandoned us and fucked off to Bayern.

It's not about loyalty. He took the job, not because of the money being offered, but because he wanted to really set something special up. He wanted to change everything about US soccer from the ground up. He isn't the type to just dump that after less than a year in charge, especially with qualification starting up this week. He has stated he loves it in California and his wife and kids are Americans. He stated that he had plenty of offers all over Europe after being let go by Bayern, but that he only wanted to move home. Loyalty to Spurs is the only reason I could see him even consider taking the job.

Oh God no. And by all indications here in the US, he loves his job and makes a boat load of cash already. Enough to afford a gold grill and hydraulics for that sweet-ass bug and there are some shops in East LA that could hook him up solid.
He didn't do it all by himself, although he had a big hand in it. But why did he come back? Because he had bombed at Sampdoria. But came back again and helped save us from relegation.
