Cheers for the information. Felt sad and desperate around here like an AOL chatroom lately.

I suppose AlliZ's RB and CH this week info was unfortunately wide of the mark or optimistic and didn't pan out. Either way would love for some positive press to come Spurs way. Has felt like we've been taking a right bashing on that front.

People need to remember that when a manager takes a press conference, they're given the lines by the PR team, just like a politician on newsnight. Hammer the lines, regardless of the truth.

3 in is interesting if Davinson Sanchez is indeed one of the new stories (JJ gave it a nod last night too). He can play RB but would be a far from ideal solution IMHO.

Barkley has to be one of the 3, RB replacement another, and I'd assume #3 was Keita Balde.

Strange to go from #3 being a forward to a CB if so.

Problem is the way things are going I'm not even confident we'll get one the way things have gone thus far!

Juventus were hoping for a Freebie, however as we put a bid in, they woke up and bid as well, its what Balde really wanted

All the previous ITK said it was RB, AM and WF/CF we were looking to buy. Getting a CB was only if Wimmer was sold (media reports we've turned down a bid from Saints). I'd be surprised if we went from wanting Keita Balde, to missing out and at the same time deciding not to bother buying a WF/CF afterall, that's some turnaround when we had been on the brink of spending such a significant amount of money.
Previous ITK also stated, that for the Italian based player (we now know was Balde) there's a Premier League backup option.

Do we know for definite Balde is off the table? Or is it as Trix said about other deals, ever changing. JJ seemed quite definite, but I've yet to see anything suggesting he's joining Juve.
