Andros is a great player. His injury smashed our WC hopes to smithereens.
Under AVB there was no point him trying to find anyone in the box after one of his dozens of great runs-because there was nobody in the fecking box.
He was a key player in the resurgence under Sherwood and when he got injured we faltered and then Tim tried to ease him back and he got injured again by that dirty Stoke c@nt ironically after Tim waved him to go to the sideline.

I reckon for the first piece of info you're good to post, but if you think this is going to be regular the you're better to let a Mod know your source in private.

[Edit] But tbh they'll come and ask you for verification if you start with regular info. But anyway aren't you the one with the Southampton connections? In which case I'd say you're pretty verified already, in a "cat's out of the bag" kind of sense!

You can post here fella, but worth letting mods know your source (kept quiet) and they can verify your info.

I'm not sure I've ever seen Remy as a LWF. RWF and sometimes doing a job at CF.

Remy doesn't suit us anyway. His awareness and link-up play make Defoe look a good team player. He's a decent option for a long ball team, but wouldn't suit a passing/possession side at all.

Newcastle were a shambles a lot of the time but they certainly weren't a long ball team.

You need balance in any team. Technical players are great, but you also need to mix it with some pace, power, directness and end product too.

We already have foreign players in excess of the max limit in our current squad. If we do the swap, we would have one more foreign player to offload in addition to any more if we sign other foreign players during this window.

Not that much of an issue, as we are over by 2, but that includes BAE, Khumalo (neither of whom will be registered), Frediel (won't get a game anyway and we don't need a 4th GK) and we also have Cebellos, who is most likely 7th in pecking order for 3 positions, so likely to be loaned out or sold anyway.

Add to this, that if we get Schneiderlin (HG) we will sell Sandro, which opens up another space. Our problem is we have 31 players in a squad that needs to be registered, so we need to get rid of some before we bring in more (regardless of HG status or not).

Rob seemed to tacitly approve it last time so you should be good to go (and given that some of us saw the source then anyway). Going through the mods is more for your protection in any case, particularly if you want to contribute anonymously via the Goat and not be troubled with questions/publicity.
