We won't be signing bony end of story, Swansea don't need to sell so the price would be North of 30m which we certainly won't pay!!! We will most probably go sniffing in the Russian market knowing levy as the arse has fallen out of the rouble and there are potential bargains!
To me he seemed to make it very clear to the Swansea fans, after he scored against us, that he was staying at Swansea. No chance for us in the January Window IMO.
Naughton and Carroll maybe plus £15m or so.Well we know he's available but he's just going to cost a packet as Monk said and I think they'd cost him up super high in the summer as well as Jan as they don't necessarily want to get rid.
They want top dollar, full stop.
The thing that might be on our minds is sticking Tommy Carroll in as part of a deal and maybe sticking another player in the mix and bunging some cash on top of it + add-ons.
That's the kind of thing I'd be expecting.
No chance us signing Bony especially at £30m +.
Like Trix said in his recent ITK - the reason Paul Mitchell was brought in was so we don't end up spunking £30m on already established players.
Harry Kane is our number 1 striker & we're junking a fortune on Ade & Soldado.
I want another striker but would be happiest with another young player with good potential rather than some crazy priced battering ram like Benteke or Bony.
There it is...bung him in a bony package.clint: I spoke to Huw last week about Naughton, he said they WILL be bidding for him in January.... Monk likes him
We really need a better scouting network.
Hence the appointment of Mitchell and his team.
Mate that description works for Benteke too, just add "pace, younger and probably cheaper"Bony - every day. Powerful, strong on the ground and the air, can create chances for himself, willing to move. Please Bony.
Aye, hopefully we listen to him. We don't have a great recent record of listening to who the best players for our team will be.
