he's reached his ceiling as wellI love Coco but this makes sense. He's 28 and his value is probably not going to get any higher and I doubt we'll offer him a new deal.

Hmmm it's not a bad thought as Zaha could replace Lamela and be support striker to Kane plus he's home grown but U think itd be too difficult to do.
But Palace won’t bite ?The club are trying to offload Lamela.
Why would anyone take a chance on him really with his poor Injury record? Granted he is a full International who seems to do well for the national team, but he only plays for 50% of games at most.We are actively trying to offload Lamela. But offers are loans, or derisory proposals. His preference would be Roma , and If not Roma, then still Italy.
Seems like we’re in a sell to buy situation. Luckily we seem to have some decent prospects from sale at a decent price in KWP, Aurier, Foyth, Lamela. Could be about 60m right there. Plus Vertonghen’s decently high wages off the book.
To make room for Zaha...The club are trying to offload Lamela.
I'm not sure what else you can expect for Lamela other than loans or small offers. What chairman would sanction a large fee for a player who has spent so much time injured. Now that Sunderland have gone to shit that is.
Not sure where the Zaha talk is coming from. Not exactly covering the cost with the sale of Lamela. We're much more likely to go for Wilson and possibly Eze. We need homegrown but affordable too.
I don't even see it as a risk. He's just not prolific in any sense. Any club that picks him up is getting a hard worker who is perennially injured and has very little end product. There's no risk, it's just a bad signing. But hopefully someone takes him.Love Lamela, but I can’t see many clubs that would be willing to take the risk.
