Some good valid points but I don't think it's fair to mention Hoddles convo with DL. I don't think DL would tell him the truth and risk it coming out in public.

Well all Hoddle said was - Levy thinks spurs could do something special this season with Bale in the team - he doesn't state he isn't/is going to leave, but he leaves it open. All that is saying is it hasn't been decided yet. Proabably the most sensible thing said by anyone about this for a while

And it is entirely fair, at least we ALL know who Hoddle is, ITK'S can be anyone to the rest of us. And He didn't commit either way. Speaks volumes about thei situation. IMO of course.

still a week of this shit to go...I always hoped Bale would be our Giggsy or Gerrard (in terms of loyalty).

Lets get the replacements in and then make the RM deal as I suspect is the plan. I'd love him to stay and be part of this team thats been built but I think we're all pretty resigned to the fact that he is almost certainly off.

I don't know much about this Lamela but the amount of masturbation that surrounds him on here suggests he's pretty good.

Can't wait til this is all over and we know for certain what our squad looks like.

I think that we should wait until the last day of the Spanish transfer window before releasing Bale.
That way, we may stymie some of their potential outgoings (to the Arse, etc.).

Hopefully everyone on here appreciates that the very essence of getting information before a deal is done implicitly contains the risk that it won't?

Particularly in the case of Willian, you can understand the excitement of those who had information. It was blatantly very close to completion.

As one ITK suggested, it's actually turned out to be an excellent move by Chelsea. Whilst strengthening themselves, it's also seemingly negatively impacted THFC, Real (CL rival for them) and possibly AFC & UTD who could be hoping to benefit from a Madrid fire-sale. Wankers.
