Why is the club so quiet? We got all the ITK agreeing for once saying Paulinho is in the bag jeez even the player himself has said so yet from the club? nothing, nada why? Get the feeling that next week Paulinho will say Tottingham? no not them is Nottingham I have signed for.... its so goddam quiet - I dont like it.

Perhaps now with AVB and Danny boy backing him, things will be much quieter from the club themselves and so they spend the time getting these deals done?

Pretty sure we wouldn't go for both. I think Soldado is the back-up plan for Villa, which I take as positive that we have a plan B. Things seem to be planned a bit better this summer.

Signings like Villa and Saldado provide you with an instant return in terms of what they do on the pitch, so Levy may be happy with parting with the cash for these two knowing that the investment will pay dividends on the pitch rather than after.
