What I like about this window till date is the sheer conviction we have showed for the player(s) once we enter negotiations, instead of jumping ship from one to another target.

This is what many have been asking for over the last year's.

So when people said 'January's a hard window..' or 'but other teams struggle as well...' etc it never washed with me.

Identification and decisiveness. It may have to wait for the next window but that's all I've ever wanted.

I think it hints more at sensible squad management

In all likelihood we will only have a small percentage of Perisic wage getting covered by Hadjuk. It actually wouldnt surprise me if we were fully subsidising the loan as a good will gesture/ keeping Hadjuk sweet in case we do any future deals

I believe we had ITK that Perisic was part of the Vuskovic deal

I think they were separate but either way not a bad club to be tight with given that Croatia continually seem to churn out these excellent players and we’ve had some of the best. We’re probably a pretty popular team in Croatia.

I'll add the plan with Nusa was always for the Summer however after Ange spoke to him personally he was very impressed with the lad and has asked if we could do it now.

It's less likely and we will wait if that's what it takes.

Going by the latest ITK I can't help but get the impression the responses and interest we are receiving from our targets are much more favourable than we've had in the past, I wonder if it has spurred us on.
